It extremely tedious, similar to moments in Madden. My biggest gripe is the slow load times (on old gen)

I consider myself a casual binger. I only started playing it this season in June when it became free on xbox. Then binged it for Two months solid, then this week put down the controller and have moved on to other games. I was hardcore for Fifa 19 and 20 but have managed to beat the addiction. I stopped this week and decided to play the newly released Madden 23 instead. Made a nice change but found plenty of lag there too. In fact it is probably this weeks Madden release that is causing most of the EA server lag atm.

Just played Three games of rivals and something weird happened. In every game my opponents players were moving faster than my own, my players did not feel stuck in mud, but the opponents players were moving about 20% faster. Have you noticed you have been losing more rivals games since packing him? My gameplay turned to custard the moment I got him. He and my team are fantastic in squad battles, but in Div rivals they barely moved yesterday

It will only get worse with crossplay. Imaging all the arguments that will happen over supposed advantages when Xbox meets playstation etc

I learnt ages ago that they are just not worth it, losing match after match, all to chase something that has very little worth anyway. I only bother with squad battle objectives these days, or occasionally GG objectives if the rewards look very enticing.

Yeah can see I am going to be forced into doing just that. Have a Serie A squad and there just no SBCs that will help me improve it

I play 442 and not because it is “ratty”. I just find it the simplest, I always know exactly where on the pitch my players will be, makes it easier to play. Also prefer box to box midfielders over DCMs that just stand there while opponents pass through them. Yes I do a lot of wing play, but that is what I enjoy the most,…

It is the people at the bottom that need the cards the most, and they are pretty much excluded from obtaining them. I get Fifa is meant to be competitive, but EA have forgotten the main point of a game is for it to be fun to play.

The second man press seems to work, at least in DIV 3 seems to confuse the attacker and makes it easy to get ball back

I don’t do it, never try for a cheesy kick off goal. I let others spam the exploits, I prefer to try and play a normal game of football. Probably why I am in division 3 and not elite, but that is fine.

Only pro squad battles, should be able to do them without refreshing for easy opponents

Would be great tbh. Muddy weather where left stick dribbling was hopeless, and big strong players reign supreme, would make the game much more interesting, and bring in more play styes. Maybe 10% of games in mud, 10% in rain 10% under lights etc
