I'm sure they've just finally come to the same realization we all have in that the Glazers don't truly want to sell at the end of the day. The JR options allows them to still have control but also cover their ❤️❤️❤️❤️ with the whole sale ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I don't think he took enough risks. Had a bad habit of playing the first pass he saw, often the safest one..so just a lot of side ways/backwards. Not enough forward, through balls, etc.
I feel like every new post I see about "Chelsea want x for Mount"...the fee they want just goes up. First it was 60, then 70, now I'm seeing 80. Honestly we just need to move onto the next option of this is the case
Probably upset we knocked them out of the cup. That's perfectly fine though. I never really felt he fit the profile that we seem to be after and he's not going to start over Bruno at 10 if we do role with the 4231. Nice to see we are immediately walked away after it became clear we weren't going to sign him though
I think a factor in the Antony situation was FDJ. I think had we managed to get FDJ, we wouldn't have signed Antony and gone Gapko or another cheaper alternative. Once it became clear to ETH and co that FDJ wasn't going to budge over the whole pay situation, that's when we bit the bullet and finished the Antony deal
We couldn't, but it's just tough looking at the outcome of it all. I appreciate the effort, but despite the fact that he clearly gave it his all, there was really only 3-4 games that I can say he was great in... the rest the only positive really was his pressing.
Don't get me wrong, definitely not a guarantee.... but when your primary job is just to disrupt play and get the ball to someone like Enzo, I feel like the the chances of failure should ideally be lower. But you never know. As a rival I'm all for him failing for sure. I don't want Caicedo to go to Chelsea though. I'm still…
Ugarte is a bid signing for Chelsea assuming they finish it. Will likely be a very solid CDM. Upset we didn't make an effort there. Especially with Chelsea supposedly after Caceido too.
yeah, I was just about to share this LOL. https://twitter.com/xGPhilosophy/status/1665026682468683776?s=20 https://twitter.com/xGPhilosophy/status/1665025220594348034?s=20
Oh I agree... Fellaini would have been more impactful than Wout's been this season and would have had more goal contributions with some of the chances that Wout's bottled.
We really need 2 ST's, 2 midfielders, a CB, and if possible a new starting GK. I'm still find with rolling with DDG if needed for another season or at least through to the next window, but the first 5 are musts IMO. Sancho's next season is a "prove it" year. It's wild to me that he can sit back and watch Rashford, Antony,…
Glad we no longer have to see Fellaini 0.2 despite him finally showing a good piece of hold up play today. The constant playing him in the midfield actually made me miss Fellaini... and I couldn't wait to sell him.
Idk man... his stats suggest he's better on the left. I'll take whatever it takes to the attack going. I think Garnacho being on the left will be more impactful than Sancho on either side today. I'd get Pellestri on at some point if Sancho can't get anything going.
