At least on PC (not sure about new gen) they took away weather options from 22 that were available in 21. No more foggy conditions (Foggy, Showers, and Flurries -- all 3 were removed).
I don't understand why they're so lazy not to implement a coin toss, surely that'd be simple enough. Instead the home team always attacks the to the right (from the TV camera)... I believe Liverpool is the only exception although IIRC they switch camera sides when Anfield was last renovated, and EA changed the camera but…
Yes it's licensed, but they want to rescan it and that's much harder to do due to pandemic restrictions. There's a chance it'll be 23 but EA has several others that they've already scanned and chose not to include with 22, so it's impossible to say what they'll decide. No idea why they didn't just use the old model.
So you've got enough money/resources to have BOTH next gen consoles but you want to customize the game on those instead of PC? I'd just be happy with what you got lol. Did they undo Germany's? I thought they had the Olympiastadion assigned in FIFA 21. For Italy I assume they lost the assignment after Stadio Olimpico was…
Might be a workaround on PC once modders get on it. Otherwise, nope, you're out of luck. Definitely a poor design choice but almost everything about the create-a-club/stadium customization is a lesson in poor design choices.
FIFER's notorious for "borrowing" and not paying for coding help, and obviously with his Patreon it's not like he's doing it out of the goodness of his heart. He'll be adding a lot of content, not sure about gameplay though. Paulv2k4 is main gameplay modder but he's boycotting FIFA 22 and honestly I can't blame him. So…
Then why not say it in any marketing material? What exactly has EA done to earn this kind of blind faith? Osasuna and Freiburg both had their stadiums scanned and we've heard nothing about those. The *might* get added to FIFA 23 but that doesn't matter to me right now.
I completely agree but they're putting any effort into that. The crowds have been the same way for a long time. It's even worse when you play in MLS. The one generic chant they have there is awful
Just wanted to point out that they removed foggy weather which always made the lighting look better, at least from the pro camera. It just doesn't look as good now
Same here, glad I tested out the demo, I'll drop my money on 2k22 instead and have fun with an offline career mode that's actually immersive. I can't believe how many things they actually made worse this year: * Graphically, the game just looks worse. I'm playing on PC and 21 runs smoothly for the most part. I'm getting…
Stadium assignments are in the same exact file as the squads. When the squads update, it deletes the old file and creates a new one, rather than just editing the necessary parts of the file. That's why it gets wiped each update. You'll have to save it in a different squad file and then reload it, I believe. Should be easy…
Completely agree but imo none of that matters if we still play half our games in generic away stadiums. They need to add the ability to customize other team's stadiums. Currently we can just change the name, but it's the same outdated generic grey model. Not good enough.
I'm playing the trial now, can confirm. No way to customize stadiums outside of Create-a-Club or Pro Clubs. I'm playing on PC and this honestly feels like a re-skin. Glad I'm doing the trial because I'm not paying full price for this garbage
Yeah the complaints about pack animations are super weird to me. But I guess it matters if you spend hours and hours, just like all the bells and whistles that make a slot machine appealing to gambling addicts. I'd be delighted to see those kinds of microtransactions outlawed but I think the publishers are going to lobby…
