Bruno has been laughably pathetic for half the season, but as someone said, there's a large man united fan base that get to vote and he's a genuinely good player in fifa. These cards are not necessarily based on merit and it shouldn't really matter.
Man, people take a football video game FAAAR too seriously - so silly. I've seen players in an actual football competition with a more chill attitude. Oh well, it takes all sorts I guess.
Tbf I bet even they don't believe it when they say it's an eSports game. We all know the score - it's the only legit soccer game in town, that's why we play it. Gameplay has been crap for years and will be crap for years into the future too.
Yep, they just need to be more balanced. They both make utterly ridiculous saves multiple times a game and then also have multiple brainfarts in the same game.
I agree with the previous poster - if input lag and delay are the same for both players and if there is more than a small skill gap between the 2 players, then the cards do not matter (disclaimer - obviously this is only going by my experience and those of my friends, YMMV)
To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if it's not the players that are doing it. My tactics have 65 depth and balanced in defense, yet my players drop back a LOT when the opposition is near my penalty box. I think the AI just reverts to it automatically
To compare with FIFA 21, positives: - 22 doesn't encourage as much skill spamming as 21 did. - 22 less reliant on pace, rarely do I see fullbacks as CBs. Strikers can be quite effective without 99 pace. Negatives - passing and GKs are atrocious and far more inconsistent than 21. And I wasn't a fan of 21 passing either.
Surely most FIFA players know by now that higher rated players doesn't mean too much. I've won against much better teams and list against much poorer trans - and I'm quite sure my experience is the same as pretty much everyone else. It makes the angry messages even more idiotic and pointless.
This, but also the other way around. I've got players with <80 passing making crazy through balls, whereas others with >85 passing overhitting a simple pass to the wing. The other issue I've noticed for a LONG time (since FIFA 21 actually) is when the receiving player doesn't actually lock on to a through ball, and instead…
It's a strange one. Obviously there are many deserving players that didn't make it to this TOTY and one could argue it is evidence of EA's influence at play. But then they would have definitely included Ronaldo and Salah too, both of them are very marketable and will fetch them lots of FIFA points.
I can't remember the last time anyone on this forum was happy with whatever state the game was in. And that goes for all the previous FIFA's too. So no, people aren't happy with the meta. It's just that we've all accepted it because complaining on this forum, or anywhere else for that matter, isn't going to change anything.
Yes, I think you've been unfortunately quite unlucky OP. I would say, in my experience, 4 out of 5 players have quit when I scored first. Can't complain about that.
