It looks basically the same. A lot of the same animation, same physics, same lack of realism. Theyve done basically nothing in a decade. FIFA 21 isn't even a true PS4 game, nevermind PS5.

I really like him. Dribbling stats all feel better than they are, electric pace with hunter and a deadly finisher. Passing and long shots are poo, but if you want a goalscorer he's well worth having.

There are some very minor differences, yes, but on the whole it feels like a new FIFA 20 patch rather than a whole new game, as usual. £50 a year for the most minimal changes. Rinse and repeat.

Are you on drugs? It's the same game engine, the same graphics, the same animations, the same ball physics, almost everything is the same. To say it plays "completely different" is laughable, as if they've completely re-worked and rebuilt the game. It's the exact same game with some very, very minor tweaks.

Doesn't take long to notice and feel that it's literally 99% the same game, especially when you've come straight from playing 20 five minutes earlier. Don't think the next gen version will be any different either. Until there's a new game engine it'll carry on just being a re-skin.
