Watkins would have been a better card and it would have been nice to have an alternative English strong link to Kane or Nketiah. As good as James is, a Welsh PL rm isn’t overly useful given the quality of Adama.

There hasn’t been an English Summer Star or Nations player SBC has there, so you’d hope EA sort one out. I wouldn’t hold your breath though.

Past 40 a while back and still enjoy playing but family and work get in the way of any real progress. Pottering on menus seems to be most of my engagement. This said, I’m stunned how poor my luck has been this year. Given the amount of SBC’s I’ve grinded and packs I’ve opened, I’d have expected to pack at least 1 elite…

Great fun to play and gives you plenty of options. If you’re worried about being open at the back, have to two central mids drop back and cover wings. High stamina, fast wingbacks who will come back on defence are essential.

Another great thread :# As untrustworthy/unreliable as EA may be, their explanations are the only definitive evidence. If someone has evidence that categorically shows otherwise, share it. Why succumb into mud slinging.

I’ve been switching between wired and wireless over the last month and the difference was massive. Get virtually no lag on wired and gameplay tends to be smooth. On wireless, I get connection warnings regularly and the speed up/slow down lag is infuriating. Stick to wired if you can.

Seen quite a bit of this myself this week. Thought it might be delay but it’s certainly annoying. About time EA reduced the defensive assistance and started to focus more on manual defending.

One thing is for sure, if you don’t get what you want in the pack, you can find catharsis by coming on here to whine about it and/or shout at someone else. Keyboard warriors everywhere :D

There’s flaws just like there are every year but it can still be quite enjoyable to play. The bitter taste comes from EA transparently trying to milk every cent they can from the player base. There seems to even less goodwill than ever this year.

EA say crap like this because they know they can get away with it. Even if people remember it and moan we still go out and spend more and more. Face it, we’re all dumbasses.
