I am exactly the same. I'm done with it. Rivals have been fine but it feels like WL has some custom sliders that have buffed AI defending. I'd love to know how I play a through ball and Mane cannot outpace Tiago Silva. F off EA.

Only 1 team I have faced this WL didn't play 4231 and control their CDM. Game is pathetic.

Yes. If they are through on goal or it's getting late and they might break away, just slide. Never seen a red once from it.

Use the d-pad option of 'hug sideline' against those 6 man blocks. It'll pull out their defense a bit more and if it doesn't, you have the LM/RM open in space.

If you can work him in, RTTF Zakaria is incredible.

Then within a few minutes of that happening, the opposition nearly scored. As you say, luckily he was 4-2 up.

No different to saying that people sit everyone back with 1 width/1 depth and runs with their CDM like their life depends on it.

I've heard Pro tournaments are still on the old gen, so it'll mean tougher opposition too.

It's all gone to โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ lately. Attack can't create space, opponents scoring on their one chance, defenders being muscled off the ball by players with half the strength. Stopping at 14, not worth the stress to push further.

Anyone else had it from a GK when you call all 3 short, go to pass to one of them and for some reason it passes it straight in-between to their attacker to just shoot in an open net? โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ me off.

Absolutely loving the defense. Sub on Cuadrado and only Opara and Rashford off chem. Also found having the LM/RM with at least a minimum of 70 defending is huge.

Beat an Mbappe, CR7, Neymar, Gullit god squad but lose to a 4231, drop deep, spam through ball bell. Going to be a long weekend I think...

Decided to go with RTTF Zakaria, RB Opara and Walker as the 3 CB's. Been fun watching the sit deep, counter turds get caught and then lose the ball.

If the opposition doesn't really ever switch play then it's worth using. I haven't used it since the patch but before that I was using it all the time.

Ended the day on 9-1. Loss from penalties. Finished the first 10 just in time for the promo's to start slowing the game down.

8-1. The loss came from penalties. Had 14 shots to his 2 but for some reason, Neymar couldn't put it away after numerous tries. I also suck with penalties so it was inevitable.

Having real issues with anyone making runs today in WL. Been fine lately during Rivals.
