I think honestly the biggest problem is that he's not meant to be the best player at a club yet yet he's forced to be treated as one since he's still in the MLS. He really needs to move to Europe soon so he can have more of a Jesse Lingard role and play better in a reduced role for a few years while he develops.
It absolutely is, it'll be crazy to see how many he ends up getting. Unfortunately the best player on Porto is also a DM so that's why he's struggling to get minutes this year, I'm hoping he breaks into the team soon or else he might have to move on pretty quickly tbf. Certainly doing a lot better than last year, and on a…

Yeah it's certainly nice to see a contract that guarantees you'll be staying at the club for quite a long time now B) Yeah the game time is what matters most at this point in his career, which is very clear from how much he improved over the course of the season. Yeah I'm sure he'll be captain by about 25 tbf. He already…

Yeah definitely a decent start for him, pretty much exactly how I expected him to play considered how the year before went. Also I'm not entirely sure why he still isn't capped yet but my guess is that he's holding out for a possible chance to get called up to the England team.
Yeah that's always really good to see that a team this big has enough faith in you to keep extending your contract and giving you pay rises. Yeah I was surprised to see how bad the team did in the second half of the year. Honestly it looks to me like Teme was a pretty big part of the struggles too :/ You've been the best…

Yeah I was definitely very pleased to see how well he did in the whole year but specifically the second half of the year, he pretty much took the Championship by storm. Yeah Birmingham's barely been staying up his whole time there, it's time for him to move on, especially in the form he's in. Yeah it'll be interesting to…
Yeah winning the EL is pretty nice, I would've liked to see him play a bit in it but he's obviously way to young for Jardim to play him in continental play. Yep you've played CB for club and striker for country. Ilyas is even listed as the key player for his club, which is pretty impressive considering they were only two…

Yeah he's at least starting to break into the reserves which is a good sign. And yeah I'd guess you'll be named in it every year unless you like end up missing an entire calendar year with an injury or something. Nice to see Monaco's optimistic enough to keep him around. It was a crazy group, I wonder how far you can go in…

@LaMertesackerRun Yeah you can grow quite a lot in the youth teams, especially if the U-18 or U-21 coaches play you in the youth matches, just as long as they eventually either get you some playing time or start to loan you out at least within 3 years or so
Its the French version of the community shield. Yeah its definitely a pretty bad overall but literally every outfield position for you is somewhere in between 58 and 62 so the development's gonna be crazy to watch. Especially in Monaco's youth setup that'll help a lot. Its a mix between the two but training seems to have…

Yeah. American players in these normally seem to have made it to mid-table European clubs for me tbf, but your player looks better to me at the start than what I normally see at this point so I wouldn't be surprised if he can be a star for a big club eventually.
