I was having second thoughts about my (difficult) decision to walk away from football with a heavy heart and not renew my ST for the first time in about 15 years. Today made me feel like it was good timing.

Tough first game for big Nige today. Minimal involvement on Tuesday apparently so will be interesting to see how different the first team he picks is, though you’d expect minimal change after a good result and performance for the first time in months.
