Told the Mrs that I’m stuck on my sofa for the next 4 hours so don’t even bother. Got my beer, nachos and pack of M&M’s. Pizza should be delivered exactly at half time during the Man City v Arsenal game. Come on!

Done a couple of bets for the games, gonna chill and watch. I'll save the beer for next week when Liverpool are going to win the league. FIFA pushed to the side now football is back, no promo can bring me back now.

Start work at 6 will be missing the match but the joys of talk sport. Surly these rumours of player songs etc aren’t needed but if it’s true it’s fair to say the game is ruined. Enjoy the match but in a way I’m glad I’m driving as I wouldn’t want to watch a game with fake noises especially for me individual players.

Have seen some games from bundesliga and it´s really hard to enjoy without fans/public. Feels like a friendly and players doesn´t look all that motivated either :( Will probably be the same no matter what league playing during these circumstances

All PL players will rise so people can build a team around those shiny promo players, so I invested in those.

Bought 46 Yaya Toure, can’t wait for all the profit

Would be interesting to see how players cope. The videos I saw of Arsenal defenders against Brentford will not give the fan base much hope. Stuck at work so will have to hide somewhere and watch it

Politics and sport go hand in hand.

My club was created through politics in 1887.

It’s not racist finding something annoying. This black dude being “oppressed” isn’t the first time it’s happened therefore he doesn’t deserve more sympathy than the people who died before him. This Floyd dude is a cringe media trend like the cinnamon challenge or siren head. Why does he deserve to be named but the others don’t? The people in the 90s who got police brutalised didn’t get any attention.

There never was an argument to lose in the first place 🤔

I just meant saying you're boycotting watching football because they have BLM on their shirts sounds pretty racist. And just because it's happened before in the past doesn't mean that it's ok. If everyone had your way of thinking then things would never change.

I feel these protests aren't happening at the best time with the world in a pandemic but I 100% understand why they're doing it. Things need to change in this world and this is a good start to achieving that.

A major part about politics is the fact that there is debate about certain standpoints. Standpoints you can disagree with and where all sides present their points and ideally try to find a middle ground that pleases all.

Black Lives Matter is not politics. If it is politics, it would imply there is a reasonable position that could argue that those lives do not matter. Thats not the case though.

Also, never have i heard a weaker argument than It has been bad for decades and we always ignored it, so we should continue to ignore it and dont change anything. If everybody had that mindset we would still be burning witches and beheading each other on a daily basis

BLM is not politics... It's much more than that. Changing cultural norms is one of the most difficult things to achieve - usually takes several generations to see measurable results.

The more more influential voices the better - world football is a language everyone speaks. I hope they do the same in every aspect of sport and entertainment.

It's kinda ironic that all the western, capitalist organisations hop on the train of an anti-western, socialist cult (BLM). But that viral nonsense will be over soon, so whatever.
