I massively regret grinding for Prime Essien. Roams forward too much to be a reliable CDM, and when playing further forward, as a box to box CM, I find his dribbling and finishing lets him down in forward positions.

He's excellent when he's in the right position, fast and strong. But even when instructed to Stay Back he seems to think he's a centre forward for me 😄
I have him as CM in my second team currently, but honestly I find him average at best, his goals and assists ratio per game reflects that for me.
What'd you guys expect from a h/h cdm like Essien? Petit does exactly the same at cdm just much more slowly. Pim Essien's a different beast altogether if you can manage it.
I used his 86 as a CAM for loads of games behind Villa. He was amazing for me, with Hunter he has a similar pace and feel as Aguero. Just sold his 88 after 300 games. Both cards performed brilliantly for me. The 88 has enough pace to be a lone striker the 86 definitely better as a deep CF/CAM

Depends if you want to spend all your coins on one icon or get a couple to upgrade areas of your team
I’ve not tried Kaka but I’d stay away from baby Gullit. PIM Lampard, 89 Ballack are better options
