I think his dribbling will overcome a lot of the issues with the weakfoot but there will be time where it will be frustrating definitely. Had similar issues with stoichkov.
That big of an issue ? I run a almost full argie team so thinking about it
It's something I was always conscious of even a couple of months ago when he was more viable. But like I said he's fun & 5* skills if that floats your boat.
I watched maradona in his prime and he was 2 footed, had incredible balance and was as strong as a bull. This FIFA version has the balance but it portrays him as a 1 footed weakling . It's absolute nonsense

Doesn't always translate in Fifa though. Look at RVN, Henry, Pires for example. Done over dirty tbh considering how they played IRL.
His ability to blatantly cheat in front of millions is a rare talent which cannot be underestimated.
You can't deny what a quality footballer he was tho
I feel like one of the best. Certainly of his era and he so fun to watch play, I’m assuming it’s just as fun to play with him. I really need a striker pair with RB Kun Aguero and he looks almost perfect but the pim bergkamp looks so tempting as well.
I've used him multiple times and he was really fun.. However his 3 * WF is a problem. A lot of people say it's not with high shooting stats but with this card it is
Maradona influence. Won trophies at Barca when they weren't as great as they are now.
1986 Argentina win world cup. 1990 lose in final.
Napoli never won much. Sign maradona win seria A twice in 3 years. Against one of the best AC Milan teams ever.
All while getting mauled and riding knee high tackles. Plus the fact he wasn't exactly living an athletic lifestyle. Imagine how good he'd of been in todays game. Super fit and protected by referees.
His 97 card is unstoppable when the game plays well. Who cares if he has 3 star weak foot. Just walk round them till it's on his left.

You forget to add that they may well have not have won in 86 had he not had the unbelievable cheek to handle the ball and push it into the net in front of 90,000 in the stadium and billions globally.
I still cannot believe he got away with it and wasn't sent off.
I packed him in mid icon sbc and so far he's been incredible. Play him next to prime Butra and Maradona runs the game. Seems to finish everything. Very fun to play with. Stamina is a problem though!
Be fair though, if it had been your country robbed by a cheat, in such a brazen manner, you'd be reluctant to offer praise wouldn't you?
I was a kid when that happened and I never forgave him for robbing us of a fair crack at the world cup that year...and we had a good team.
I think the Argies were still very butthurt about the way we completely humiliated them in a little dust up over some islands a while before and felt cheating in a game somehow evened the score...lol.

You can't deny what a blatant cheat he was.
When someone cheats in that way, I lose any respect for them and don't even care about the other stuff...I'm funny like that.
It's not even a patriotic thing, though I am.
I feel the same about any cheat in any sport.
I can't deny that no and yeah he's a complete ❤️❤️❤️❤️ as a person, completely robbed us, damn I wish they had var back then 😂
Great player otherwise and is very fun to use in fifa

I got the 91 from base icon and use with deadeye his WF honestly feels like its 4*

What gets me is why, when the entire world saw the images on the front pages the next day, and when it was obvious he'd cheated, he wasn't given a retrospective red card, or the game replayed?
This put us out of the tournament.
Yet, there's this attitude in football that is "well, there's nothing we can do about it now".
As if we are somehow unable to see an injustice and make it right.
Imagine how those English players felt, knowing they'd had their world cup dreams stolen and nobody wanted to rectify it.
What about Lampard's disallowed goal against Germany?
A goal which would have made it 2 - 2 and who knows what happens then?
People say the Germans probably would have won anyway...but that's not the point.
Morale and fighting spirit play a huge role in big sporting events, and that equaliser gave the whole team belief.
Anyway, that type of thing is why VAR is needed and it will guarantee it can't happen again.
Personally, I think many were glad we lost and they won.
English fans, as I'm sure you know, had a terrible reputation in the 70s and 80s, both as club fans and when following the international team, and being in Mexico it suited them to have Argentina go through.
Still, once he did that I couldn't, as a patriotic person, ever give him any respect or acknowledgement.
As for his card in game, I've always found him easily bullied off the ball but very slick if you are into skill moves.

And the other goal?
Funny but hurtful
Who would you go with from 91 or 95? Can’t decide which to pick up
...made it 1 - 1 at full time.

So, no, the 86 win has no merit.
