They told us that he will be out of pack due to his racist comment and now they decide to release his PIM out of greed so people can open packs... Ridicilous

Yeah but the prime's still extinct. He must've been the naughty one. Ridiculous.

As Hans Christian Andersen wrote in "There is no doubt about it": "It got into the papers, it was printed; and there is no doubt about it, one little feather may easily grow into five hens".

His name reminds me of Chris Hanssen :D
  • Why is everything a ‘greed’ thing? OMG, EA released the next version of fifa to make money, like every single company in existence. The greed!

I highly doubt that one card is going to make the difference between people buying packs or not. There are literally 88 other PIMs in packs too, most of which are better.

Look EA are greedy, but putting him in is not greedy. Who really wants or is excited by him?
Less than 0.1% of UT players that's who.

As one guy said the angry mob moved on...

No one has to buy FP to buy packs. I just don't get the moan of people sometimes. I agree its their money, but yeah, you won't catch me buying FP just to get smashed all the time by R94 or is it R9?

R9 is the brazilian ronaldo in general; R94 is his middle icon version specific

No one here actually cares about that. It’s just an excuse to get mad at EA.

Considering they made such a morale statement about it I find it hilarious. They didn't care in the first place, just PR advice.

So not being racist makes you a snowflake?

    Am I reading this wrong?

Pretty much every company/organisation does this. Then, when things die down, they often welcome the person back. I’ve lost count of how many times Hulk Hogan has done something racist or offensive, the WWE have distanced themselves from him, then paraded him back out once things have died down.

Not saying it’s right, just saying it’s not just the big, bad, evil EA.

It’s also not really a greed thing, as they have 88 other PIMs (a lot of which are better) to sell packs anyway.

Yeah not disagreeing, but after making such a public statement it is a bit odd. Very few will miss the card or even use him, not like it's a pack seller.

No it's not a case of big bad EA but it is hypocritical that the only card removed was the prime. Perhaps it was a timing issue but it resulted in such an empty gesture.

Yes. He isn’t racist. He made a joke about Germans all being national socialists. That’s not racism.

I never said that I think this is a racist comment... sigh

That's a typical overreaction by everybody. Removing his card for such thing is absolute form of stupidity. I am even disgusted by such penalties as Suarez's one about not shaking Evra's hand.

Perhaps, they made a quick decision to placate all the whiny self righteous people who screamed blue murder when it all happened and now they are putting him back.

Finger’s crossed. Hope they release the prime too.

Closing this thread down as it's going nowhere constructive.
