Talk me out of giving EA my money

I never spend money on points, but right now my options seem pretty limited and I could really use an influx of coins, and on top of that a friend of mine just packed Messi about an hour ago, making it reallyyy tempting right now- anybody got a trick to avoid buying any?

I have opened packs with around 275 rare gold players in since 6pm last night got 2 84 rated cards, 6-7 83 rated and the rest lower is that a good enough reason

Just check the probabilities on the packs...
50k pack (approx €10) = 1,5% of packing a ucl Rttf card. And that 1,5% means 1,3% of packing Wendell of Wass, 0,2% of packing the other cards.

Hell to the no. I can understand spending at the beginning but now that there’s less value in packs along with everyone knowing how bad the game is you would have to be a fool to still be spending money on a blatantly broken product

You missed the boat, you either buy FP at the start of the game or don't bother.

At this stage the game is just full of fluff that doesnt sell for high value, theres such a low percentage of players available that are actually worth anything, even packing a player worth 300k isnt worth the real money.
