An unapologetic moan thread that I'm going to try and turn into a self-help pick me up.
Does anyone believe in cursed accounts and/or had literally as worse pack luck as me?
I have had the Ultimate Edition since day one, and I have yet to see a board on any packs. (so not even an 84+)
I've done petty much every reasonable SBC I can, and have finished Elite One three weeks in a row.
It's getting to the point I'm running out of coin resource to fund anything going forward, and I'm curious if anyone else is had luck this bad so far?

It's totally ridiculous but you are probably right!
I have no pack luck for years, I play fut sinds the start and every year 2000+ games, last year I got de Bruyne in november, FS Arthur in januari or so and PIM Moore in July or something, that's it
This year I packed IF Mahrez, which was decent, but my friends who haven't played UT for years and are awfull at the game got players like Son, Mane, IF countinho, and even the 50k players like Lucas and Werner, so yeah I think there's some kind of system that "helps" bad/new players to keep playing by giving them better packs.
In fifa 19 I spent 20 dollars on packs in the whole year and currently I have spent 80 dollars and of those 80 dollar the best player was Coman..
my lucky charm is to open packs in the bathroom. ive packed aguero and griezman.
in 19 i packed kante twice, mbappe, aguero, aubameyang, pogba, kane etc.
who new opening packs while taking a dump could be so lucky.
And my mate just opened a standard Gold Pack and got Neymar after packing Scream Aguero a few days earlier.
The worst run I've ever had on Fifa Ultimate Team, time to put it to the side I think, just not meant to be this year.
Guy at work got untradeable Aguero first week.
Then Martial, DDG, plus 3-4 60-90k players.
I've got trash all game.
I get we all go through spells of bad pack luck, but to say you’ve not had a board seems like a bit of a porky pie to me...
Believe what you want, but I don't need to make up a false story like this for a Fifa Forum.
Like I said I have had Elite One finishes in Squad Battles since launch and done every Advanced SBC, and I have yet to pull a player above an 83, not even the animation with the position and nationality etc.
It my seem unbelievable but it's honestly the truth, it's a running joke in my house now with the missus, even she knows an 82 Zapata is not the one!
I had my first 90+ player in a pack last year. I buy FP every year. Been playing UT since 2011.
Also, my first 90+ player was also my first icon. 91 hagi.
So FP doesn’t do anything for your chances, if you have crap luck, you have crap luck.
I won't buy FP to play a video game.
Yet I never also even think about good pulls any more. I just play the game.
Even if you don't trade, you can stock up on players needed for SBCs cheaply enough.

Went 2 full years with packing anyone worth more than 100k till last year

It's their game so I guess they can do whatever they like with it, but the constant tinkering with pack weights (while store prices remain the same) just seems fundamentally wrong to me.
Nice. Would be amazing to pack any of those. I haven't danced around the living room since I packed TOTS Aubameyang last FIFA, and I think I'm still paying the price for that one. The last 30-40 big packs I've opened have been absolutely dead. When you're on a run like that and you know something big has to be coming, every pack opening is a crushing disappointment!

Tbh I’d probably say this has been my luckiest start to fifa in terms of pack luck in years. Had a good year last year but my 1 million plus pull wasn’t til way into the game with Ronaldinho mid card.
Also surprisingly enough like 90% or more of my pack pulls have been from sbc, Squad battles and pre order packs. Not packed many players from fifa points. Mid scholes my best so far this year from the England section of the 4 parter sbc. Was it national pride or something?
Loved the animation for a scream walkout, looked class. It was only carvalho so the worst one but still decent.

I hope so. Your account seems to be operating on a completely different level to mine at the moment, that's for certain. This is only my 6th FUT (didn't start playing the mode until 15), but like many, I've never packed an icon. Or a Ronaldo/Messi/Neymar. I do every pack SBC going, all MM, Squad Battles to Gold 1/Elite 3 every week, Div Rivals to Rank 2 (don't do WL though). Best I've had this FIFA is Alisson at 50k. Getting quite fed up of it now, if I'm honest. I'm not particularly enjoying the gameplay, and the grind feels like it's for nothing so far. Christ, I'm moaning, aren't I! Get the violins out.
Since then I can hardly pack a board.
