Perfect result. United move from 14th all the way up to 13th. Should be enough to keep Ole around a bit longer and the lovely results to continue coming.
Any bets or accumulators for Klopp's customary dropped points excuse roulette?
VAR should have disallowed our goal - 1/100
Salah's injury - evens
Mane's goal should have been allowed - 3/2
We were in awful form so needed that result more - 2/1
Media downplayed us way too much - 5/2
De Gea was confirmed out but then somehow back - 3/1
Pitch was too dry/wet/sunny/windy - 9/2
Pogba's injury hurt Liverpool somehow - 10/1
PL didn't want a team to have a perfect record for its brand - 50/1
Some of the **** said in these forums some days boggles the mind.
End of the day, good game United. It’s always a battle between these two rivals and I thought Ole nailed his tactics. We tried to spam the crosses to much today. We needed to be more direct at times. Mane should’ve stayed on the left and moved Origi up top. After the first 10 minutes he just disappeared and he left huge gaps for AWB to run into.
About the 4th game now we haven’t looked that sharp, but still managed to get something out of it. Will be interesting to see if United builds on this. They’ve shown they can play solidly against the top teams, but what happens when they have to attack and not just counter.

Enjoyed the chat, glad we did a separate one 😎
Agree with this! A few people ruined what was a nice thread between United and Pool fans. It’s unfortunate some people made some bad tasting comments and some rival fans tried to bait fans all game.

This. Given the fanbases of United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea on here, I wouldn't be opposed to seeing this whenever two of those sides meet. We're all generally mature enough to have regular matchday chat threads like these.

Hats off to both the United and pool supporters!
Would have loved 3 but 1 point ain’t bad. Could be crucial in May
