I know it sucks but the only upside I can take away from this is they are actually addressing issues, by that I mean if they weren't we'd be getting something that vaguely says to expect fixes sooner, the fact it's taking it's time implies they're finally looking & seeing what kind of a mess career mode is & have realised it's going to take more than a quick fix on top (that likely won't fix nearly enough) to satiate everyone.
So here is to hoping that the fixes incoming are actually substantial for once... May I add that they've rarely if ever put effort in to substantially fixing career mode, it'll be worth the wait if they do.
Did they even test/check the game before they threw it on the market? How can a multi billion company throw this bugged version on the market without testing it properly before they released it? It’s absolutely embarrassing

They tested FUT mode thousands times, because that is their money maker. Career mode? why do they even care...?
If FUT was broken and they couldn't take money, do you think there would be a patch this week?
Not particularly... I know it's tempting to think & they would likely be a bit more urgent however, for one, they'd never let FUT become as broken as Career mode while it's making money, but let's just say they did, it doesn't allow them to fix & test it any faster, they might provide more resources towards handling the problem but that also comes with it's downsides (too many people editing the same bits of broken code at the same time wouldn't really alleviate problems) & on top of that, there is another big difference... FUT is in essence a big menu, a store-front. Career mode has to have an AI to handle transfers realistically (yes I know, it's not that great at that) , schedule & update fixtures (yes I know, it's not that great at that either), set-up & simulate teams, line-ups & matches (yes I know, it's not great at that either, I know I'm a broken record) amongst all the other silly little things plus being a big menu... In other words, it's a bit more complex in some respects & consider the things I've mentioned above & they're all broken to some extent... Take from that what you will.

Actually EA themselves said they could address issues in fut quicker than CM, Corey might have said it. fut being online can be seen to quicker and as CM is offline a patch has to made and tested. And if you look at what fixes has been released already you can tell where EA's priorities lie.
Plus EA have known about these bugs for a while but would rather the people who pre-ordered the game to be beta testers and they lied about what they have fixed on the packaging. And what makes it worse a 15 year old fixed these issues in less than a week and another 13 year old will be releasing a mod in the next few days that addresses all the issues but apparently a multi Million pound company cannot identify what is wrong? Yeak right!!

True to an extent. Some FUT fixes can be seen too server side (though not all, otherwise you'd not see FUT fixes in patch-notes when said patches come out), CM is client side however I was more addressing the viewpoint of a mode being magically fixed faster because it's where the money is. If FUT were client side & as broken as Career mode, my thoughts are not particularly... Though I wasn't incredibly clear about this.
I also don't dispute that EA's priorities lay with FUT & not career mode, that isn't even disputed in my post above.
It's a little bit contradictory to say that, in that there is no need to beta test for bugs that are already known about. To which there is no question about them knowing about some of the bugs, some of the bugs career mode has have been in for far too long as it is.
Contrary to how it looks, I'm not some EA supporter or defender, just someone working with the situation as it is. Which from my viewpoint is, they have to patch & test on multiple consoles then get those patches signed off & released by Microsoft/Sony, this takes time, it should have gotten to this but it has so whatever, I'm just going with it, it's crap enough without dwelling on how crap it is. It's fair enough if you have a different one, my viewpoint isn't the be all & end all.
