Adam Johnson has more Premier Legaue assists (11) than Jesse Lingard (10) in the last 6 years. Adam Johnson has been in jail for the last 3 years.

There winner could be blamed on pogba for holding onto the ball too long to begin with tbh. Needlessly losing possession in the middle of the park which they capitalised on.

Pogba can be such a brilliant player but things like this are the downsides to him.

Of course it's you that's posting that **** :joy:

Remember the **** injury crisis we had and the fitness problems that the **** show that was Mourinho's management left us with? But yeah, lets blame this on Ole. 🙄 Ridiculous lack of context in that tweet.

But now the squad is fit and the same things are happening? 4 points from your opening 3 whilst having 2 games at home and especially against a pretty poor Chelsea side is abysmal.

Abysmal  just because we didn’t beat Palace, it doesn’t mean that we’ve had an abysmal start. You can’t discount our good results against Chelsea and away at Wolves.

If anything, we tend to have an annual banter result against a lower side at home, so let’s hope that this is it

Not talking about the results at face value. Talking about how you’ve played in each game.

The lack of creativity is pretty damning. You’re also failing to keep clean sheets which is a worry and Young at left back is terrible.

Those two things together, no clean sheets and not really having any major creativity should be a worry for united fans.

Like I worry about our defence for obvious reasons but 1) it’s not full strength yet and 2) our attacks so good that we’ll be bailed out often.

Seems to be a lot of hoping with not an awful lot to base it on lately

Also 4 points is less than what I’m sure everyone expected at this point, again I’m not necessarily against Ole, we just have an awful lot to do and he also has a lot to prove.

Of course there will be growing pains. Still supremely confident we'll finish top 4 and get better as the season moves along.

I really really hope so. I don't think we need to worry about Chelsea, but Spurs and Arsenal won't be pushovers for top 4. Well, depends if Arsenal implode or not in the spring :D

The lack of creativity can be helped if Ole plays Gomes, Mata or Pereira. We have creativity in the squad, they just need to be picked. So it really isn't as damning as you make it out to be.

Shaw went off injured, but there's still hope he might be back for the Saints match, and we also have Dalot who can be cover at LB when he comes back from injury.

You're twisting the situation to fit your view.

    United xGA: 2.08

Likely to be the best or second best in the league after everyone has played 3 games. Yeah we had errors yesterday, but it evens out over the course of the season and usually your goals conceded end up quite close to your xGA. I think we'll end up 3rd or 4th best xGA when the season ends.

If Martial, Rashford, and James keep firing, we'll be fine in the long haul.

@TakeItSlow You keep banging on about our lack of goalscorers and lack of creativity. You realize we've got better goals scored and xG than you right? What does that say about you?

Just lack confidence in our board. What will stop them from sacking Ole and make us start over all again?

They say they've learned and that Ole will be given time.

If they're lying, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

Can't believe some of our "fans" have been slagging off Dan James after yesterday. He's 21 and our joint top goalscorer despite playing in the Championship last season ffs

I hate our fanbase so much.

Premier League goals for Man Utd:

    Mkhi 5
    Falcao 4
    Di Maria 3
    Alexis 3
    Memphis 2

Dan James 2 already and its still August.

But yeah according to twitter and plastics we need to go out and buy more "world class players" not "championship players"

We've got deeper problems than goalscorers. We need to build a midfield around Pogba not expect him to do everything for us.

It's very frustrating to me that we saw the issues in pre-season regarding lack of creativity/number 10.

Then our front office didnt add anyone when we all knew we needed it. I just assumed it meant we would be giving Gomes a chance. That hasn't happened. So I'm frustrated with Woodward and Co for their ineptitude in the transfer window. I'm also frustrated with how Ole has approached this. We know, and he has to know, exactly what Jessie gives us. So why continue starting him in these types of games, where we need something that Jessie cant provide?

    Lingard is our biggest problem.
He is great against teams like Chelsea & Wolves but it showed how useless he is against teams like Palace.

Looking forward to see how we line up against Southampton .

Yes, yes, all that needs to be done is to drop Lingard, then all will be fine...

How can you use this as a barometer when we've had:

New signing Pepe acclimatising to a new League and playing 140 minutes overall
Lacazette only featuring for 80 mins overall
Torreira only featuring for 20 mins overall
Bellerin/Tierney/Holding all injured, who will be mainstays in our XI when fit.

Whilst also playing Burnley at home (a tougher game than Palace) and Liverpool away, the Champions of Europe.

Let's use the brain and apply some context to this please.

Maddison in that team yesterday instead of Lingard and we win it. We all highlighted the lack of creativity during the transfer window.

Hasn’t hindered our £15m signing. Strange that.

That deflected goal on the counter against a Chelsea back 4 sitting on the half way line and an equaliser against Crystal Palace really is selling dreams

Compared to Pepe bottling a clear one on one when 0-0. Yeah, fully mate.
