Bakayoko's in the same boat as Morata. Maybe there's a player in there somewhere but he's never going to fulfill his potential here, we should cash in on his Milan form as soon as possible.
Probably just can’t cut it in such a physical league.
? it was a friendly against a non-PL club
I’m talking about his performances for Chelsea in general.
Baka's physicality is more than good enough for the PL. It's just that he needs a specific role, he's very good when he's allowed to just stay back and distribute to better ball carrying mids. His technique is too limited to go forward with the ball himself though
On the same day of reports that Bayern are preparing a new £45m bid for CHO, NiiNii’s sources at the club are telling him that CHO’s deal with Chelsea is in doubt. The sources say CHO is under pressure from his father and brother (also ex-CFC youth player’s agent that just went to Bayern) to go to Bayern, and that CHO is now unsure of his decision. The sources are also saying that Chelsea plan on giving CHO until the end of the month to make his decision, and then plan on selling if he doesn’t sign a new contract.
It is also a bit worrying that we have not seen CarefreeYouth or Alex Goldberg provide any reassurances or refute the reports of a new bid today. Hopefully there isn’t much in this and some clarity on the situation will be reported soon.
We're in serious trouble if we sell him regardless of the fee. We can't go into the season with just Willian, Pedro and Pulisic as our options for the wing.
Then again, if Frank and others can't convince him to stay then nobody can.

Might be one of the reasons why he's testing that 41212.

It is a possibility. However, he has also talked about wanting to be tactically flexible and has used the formation at Derby. Hopefully, there is no correlation between the formation and a CHO exit.
CarefreeYouth offered this “update”. While it does seem that we are trying to get a deal done, the “what will be will be” part makes it seem that there may be some truth to yesterday’s rumors.

Chelsea clearly isn't the right team for that player to develop though.

Hope so, surely the lad can’t want to leave a garunteed Starting role here for a part time role?
I’d hope so anyway
More youth culled by Frank.
We have like 8 midfielders.
There's also a lot of options for midfield, so good move.

Everyone else is either unfortunate to play in a position where we already have good options or not ready for the senior jump.
