Not sure yet if I'm buying. Depends on what is done with career mode and everything related to that mode. I do not care about useless stuff such as FUT and Volta which seems to be the focus. If I am buying I don't think I gain anything from buying something other than Standard since all you get with the others are FUT stuff.

Ultimate

Will use loyalty/PS4 EA Access on the Ultimate Edition. Fell out of love in past two years and stopped playing way early compared to playing year round beforehand but I'm a sucker for football games and likely end up getting PES to play for a few weeks as well. People who play online modes, mainly FUT will never stop buying no matter what they say. It is the focal point for a reason.

Ultimate team is largely the only mode I play these days since I stop playing clubs so the extras are used if not greatly useful with having to wait for the packs instead of all at the same time.

That's the issue if you have bought Fifa Points you will do again regardless of getting 2 packs a week as it's not enough to feed the addiction many of us have,

Every year the cycle is the same. Not classed as gambling but has all the trademarks of the same mental process.

Day 1:- "I'll put a little bit on just to get started." end up spending £100+

unless your Bateson and you spend thousands after spending a ton on PES and saying it's boring cause you got all the best players and won't do it again after doing every year beforehand.

OTW:- "If I get that Hazard I'll be set for the year... Just an £80 or £160 and I'll stop till TOTS that EA Access discount makes it not too bad"

..... Get nothing.... "but if I do another £80 I might get Hazard and it will be fine."

Scream and every future event till you stop playing:- Wow these cards look beast... I'll spend just a tiny bit more.

Waiting to see how bad DDA is. If its something like this year, no way I’m buying. The Frostbite engine alone another year as well, isnt the best argument either..
