MLB The Show does this. Basically every card day 1 has the potential to be upgraded over the season and they do weekly upgrades. Except for flashbacks and POTM cards. They also do downgrades so if your favorite player is having a **** season the card won’t stay at a locked in rating. So many opportunities for investing... and losing though.

EA are too greedy for innovation and people keep shovelling money into EA 's pockets
the game has stayed the same for years
Expect next Fifa to be the same just a few sliders changed and people will be buying Fifa Points day one by the millions and then moaning how bad the game is
