FINISH THIS SENTENCE: You know you’re gonna lose (no matter what you do) when:
1 - You Varane/Goretzka loses on the body against his Mertens/Hazard
2 - You press tackle and the player doesn’t tackle
3 - Rebounds go back perfectly for his attacker to score on a first touch

Your doing one thing, the control pad is doing one thing and the AI is doing another thing
oh boy. I dominate the first 10 minutes. Get inside the box one-one against the Gk. Hit the post and in the counter he scores... I get myself together. Continue to dominate. Even 1-1, then concede a kickoff... you know there’s nothing you can do.
hit the woodwork 6 times
had 11 shots on target and the keeper is an alien
the commentator says " momentum"
chris smalling scores a no look 30 yrd finess against me
Loool
To flip this discussion on its head I knew I would win when I missed 2 pens in the space of 5 mins and then scored the worst rebound not long after the second pen miss.
Sometimes you get all the luck and the next game get none 🤷🏻♂️
Both of these + when my players just seem to have lost all ball control and passing ability
This is true too, of course. I have won games when I pittied my opponent because everything wen my way. There was even a game I felt so bad I tried to tie... but I just couldn’t. Tackles resulted in ball on my firmino 1-1 against the gk and he scored with a first touch finesse that I didn’t try...

Anyways, bottomline is we are too often not controlling what happens in the game[/bold], whic is the opposite of what we want in a videogame.
