What is the point in chemistry

If your not going to get punished for using players on bad chem, people can make teams where every player is on 6/7 chem and still play like gods, whilst i use 100 chem and everyone on 10 player chem, no point on having a chemistry system on the game

Actually at a certain point you get - stats, so there is punishment, If you have 100 chem you are getting positive stats.

But you are punished for using players with bad chem, regardless if your team chem is 100.

Every player with 6+ chemistry still get a stats boost, obviously the boost is higher if the player has 10 chem
For 5 or lower the player gets a malus in stats (you can check this boost in players bio)

Now if you play with Ronaldo on 3 chem he gets a malus but he's still a 94 rated player so even with the malus he is a god card

Also if you have 100 squad chem the malus is not so high

Well that's on you mate. doubt you can honestly tell the difference between a striker with 90 finishing and 99 when their putting it in the net.

Its just frustrating when a dude with 82 chem and players out of position can still play as smooth as a team with full chem all round

I personally think chemistry is responsible for all the madness that happens in FUT. online seasons feels so much better game play wise

Chem was a great idea, like most of the ideas behind FUT. But since EA only care about selling packs they're not really bothered about punishing people for not having chem. They'd rather you spent money and got every expensive card you can regardless whether they fit together or not.

Probably a bigger issue than chem is there are too many "man for any occasion" players in this game. Strengths and weaknesses are pretty much irrelevant at times.

You need a LB use Raheem Sterling, need a CM try Sterling, a striker yep Sterling will do that too.

Teams that use players like Ousmane Dembele or Sterling as CMs should get smashed in midfield as neither are tacklers but the game is such that they'll do just fine.

Team building should matter, teams should have balance and be weak in areas if they don't have it.

Plus when you play them out of position, they shouldn't be playing in that position like they've been playing there all their careers. There's a reason managers don't play players out of position, you won't see Vardy playing CM
