Stop exaggerating. You don’t play multimillion pound teams every game at all.

I have a positive w/l in rivals .
Think I have 2 wins in about 20 wl matches over 3 weekends.
I am not finding that to be the case.
Average player finding it very tough.

Weird, keep grinding at it. First 5 games are completely random mate, would try a few more and see how it goes.
Honestly just keep plodding on with it. You have done your first 5 games now right? In general you should be matching guys with around the same record as you in the WL so far.
Guys with top teams also don't always know how to use them, maybe dont look at the team screen as it loads so you dont effectively talk yourself out of a game when KO happens.

That's a little simplistic to say that.
I struggled on 18 to play the way the game forced you to. I am sure you get that and had a perhaps 30% win rating.
On 19 I am at about a 60-70% in rivals due to I think the way I want to play the game suiting 19. I don't feel I am a great player by no means.
However struggling to translate that gameplay into weekend league.
No biggie.

Ok, so I get conceding 1, but you said you knew it would happen...the second that is, so why not keep possession for those last in game minutes?

Winning 2-1 with 10 mins left lost 3-2 to one ridiculous goal from 30 yards and then one of those ones where your defence decided to go walkabout for a far post tap in.

I got beat by a guy with Halloween troy Deeney and vardy up top and another with king, zaha and ndidi. I think i tend to assume it's in the bag when I see a team like that and start playing lazy fifa
