Also think Laca made a big impact and will start and Torriera played well and should come in.
And Lich played well at LB.
At who's expense? Any chance of Auba being dropped?
Ozil for me, thought he was poor today didn’t seem to have any desire to win the ball back whenever he lost it.
I’d have
PEA- Laca-Mkhi
As a front 3 against Chelsea.
Ozil is no good against teams that attack and press because he very rarely tracks all the way back quick enough so defensively you’re exposed a lot more.

Played pretty well second half, and should have scored a couple tbh. For a first game against City, the overall performance was better than I thought and the players seemed to have adapted to the pressing quickly. Ozil, Ramsey and Mkhitaryan were disappointing, though- a few times they could've created something/scored, but a poor touch/pass let them down. Centre-backs are obviously bad, but nothing will change in that regard until Koscielny's back.
Very impressed by the performances of Guendouzi and Lichtsteiner, Torreira and Lacazette (when they came on). There's not a tougher test for a midfielder than playing against City for a midfielder, but Guendouzi did very well to retain the ball on a number of occasions. Defensively he was excellent, helped win the ball back a lot in midfield. There's no reason why Xhaka should be starting ahead of him. I'd play this team against Chelsea:
Cech
Bellerin-Mustafi-Sokratis-Lichsteiner
Guendouzi-Torreira-Ramsey
Ozil-Lacazette-Aubameyang

Was quality in pre season.
Never afraid of the ball.
This new shape looks much better.
I mean he hasn't, he's just been very isolated.
looks it...
Yes he has. Keeps passing it to City players and is actually failing to take on his man almost every time.
I think they'll get something out of that.
Hopefully. We’ve got Palace away next, which I think will be very tricky, so hoping for a Chelsea/Arsenal draw.

I am not providing fantasy tips.
But doubt it, should start over Micky or Ramsey.
Erm we’ve got that place tied up already mate , 5th or 7th are available for them.

no chance ozil gets dropped
I would assume it could be
Xhaka - Torreira
Mkhitaryan - Ozil - Aubameyang
Lacazette
I’d be surprised if xhaka starts over matteo or Ramsey tbh, thought he also had a poor game he seem’s to like to much time on the ball.

Against lesser opposition he's usually good with his passing, but as soon as he's put under pressure he crumbles.
Cech
