I love Welbz but in no way was he hyped up anywhere near as much as Lacazette Lacazette scored nearly as many goals last season as Welbeck did in his entire United career ffs.
Giroud wasn't either because I distinctly remember people thinking RVP would still be staying at that point, or that Podolski would be our starting striker. Nobody even knew who Lucas Perez was.
This is someone who has scored like 90 goals in the last 3 seasons, not some second or third rate player like the aforementioned ones.
Should have gone in at half time 1-0 if it wasn't for another wrong offside decision. Very poor second half performance though. Spurs scored the first and we crumbled. They had chance after chance and were still doing their best to bottle it. In the end we should have equalised if it wasn't for a Lacazette horror show. Second chance in particular has to go in, he's supposed to be a clinical finisher. Mkhitaryan and Ozil weren't good enough. Auba was basically our only threat and we didn't utilise the balls in behind enough. Awful game

All in all awful performance today but I feel the manager takes a lot of the blame and all for setting up defensive when you can’t defend anyway and playing Elneny is a joke
