It's very similar to the Cech situation that we had. He was second choice and we had to offload him but he didn't want to leave London - all while Arsenal were hunting for a keeper.
There's still reason for Arsenal fans to be happy though, Aubameyang is a top signing and is a nice addition to the league.
Problem is with that kind of formation we need a proper DM, I doubt we'll even see all 4 playing together that much with Aubameyang not able to play Europa League, would be interesting to see Laca and Auba up top together though
I doubt very much Laca will be a benchwarmer. He's top class. Anwyay I'm curious to see how Wenger fits them all.
Wouldn't make him a bench warmer, we would rotate the front three and the chances of everyone being injury-free at the same time is minimal anyway. I'd say it's our best eleven when everyone's fit, though. Other alternative is to play a 4222, which is something I can see Wenger doing, since it's pretty similar to the version of 433 we're playing, just with an extra striker instead of midfielder. Mkhi and Ozil coming inside, and full backs providing the width. Only way we get all 4 into the same side. Wouldn't chance it in big games, though
Not much point in either of them. Just play Wilshere/Ramsey together in a 442/4231, would make us more vulnerable to the counter attack but it's less painful than watching us play this slow & pedantic football away from home.
