Thinking about two H/H cdms.

Or would it be better to have one who is more defensive?

No. You dont want your cdms to overlap the striker do you?

    Pirlo+88 Mattehus=golden
  • IMO One M/H proper defensive mid and then one M/M or H/H either playmaker or box to box. I use Rui as my M/M and he's great there.

Yeah this. One m/h and one H/H is the best possible IMO

Right now I have 88 vieira and SIF mooy, and mooy is good but wish he was H/H

When I was playing 4231 I had Bakayoko and I could really feel his M/M, I found Gueye doing a lot more defensively

    Isn’t it a very boring formation ?
Everyone I played using that formation has both cdm stay back and the only attack they use is sprint down the wing, focus on have fun while playing instead of grinding for a win ,

I find very balanced. The 4 cams link up very well and often change positions which can be tough for the opponent

    Eh? It does.

OP. I'd give whoever you fancy a go and see how it goes. Often on here people state things like they are a certain fact when it's all really down to personal preference.

Two H/H works if they're both really good and you're a decent defender, but I think the optimal is one H/H and one M/H. TBH though I often find my M/H CDMs pushing past my CAMs because the game just decides to **** me about, so how much it really matters I'm not sure. :joy:

So, in theory, a player such as Bakayoko, M/M, next to Matuidi H/H would be better than, say Pogba H/M, next to Matuidi H/H?

    Work rates trump other stats/attributes?

Don’t worry. Honest question, not entirely a trap...
