    YOUR GETTING GAGGED

Switch to Reddit forums, these forums are as dead as the game and EA.

First of all its "negativity" not "negatively". And seconds it's "you're getting gagged" not "your getting gagged". And third I agree. Reddit we can talk about everything and anything about this game and I've seen first hand people are suffering since they bought this garbage of a game and it's mechanics to suck our dollars from everyone. I mean $40, which is 5 hours of a persons earning before tax, you spend on 2 100k packs and the best card you get is Pedro. And it's not a one of thing. Getting a Pedro like player is very consistent as the best card in such packs. This is absolute shame.

Reddit is a culture of tin foil hat wearing nerds so that breeds cynical negativity.

This forum is similar but not as bad as reddit and there is still a lot of negativity.

Don't get me wrong, this isn't an attack on the mods.

They have a job to do, but gagging people for speaking the truth is a joke.

You ban more of these threads than you do bullying keyboard warriors with some disturbingly vulgar vocab.

The only thing they overly mute is 'that subject' on whether it exists or not and that's more for their sanity i'd imagine.

There are a few mods who are trigger happy with closing threads but overall I think we're pretty free to speak our minds.

I don't know, maybe it's nice to have a forum where there's some attempt to police up the million "wurst fifa ever" posts and allow people who are actually playing and...more or less...enjoying the game to talk about it. Reddit still exists, you have plenty of outlets to say whatever you want about the game, but maybe they decided that on their own official forum they'd prefer that posts not get pushed off the front page instantly by two dozen ballboy moaning threads.

And I'm hardly an EA shill, I've had my own share of warning and closed posts as well...I've been intensely critical of EA, this game, and the devs in the past. But there has to be a balance, or at least if I ran a game publisher I would want to strike a balance on my own official forum.

EDIT: If anything I wish they were a little more proactive about shutting down whiny nonsense.

    EA's 11 commandment:

Thou shall not participate in free speech.

The problem is that hate breeds hate and so when one legitimate complaint crops up, a million others appear using the first complaint as justification for their own.

You try moderating that, it's hard.

    EA's 11 commandment:

You don't have the right to free speech in somebody else's house. They're free to show you the door. Last I checked, Reddit and a dozen other places will let you say whatever you want about FIFA.

And very swiftly it drowns out any other conversation anybody wants to have, which is why you need to moderate it.

It ain't the same as someone else's house. We paid for the game. So it's more like a hotel that you pay for then get told to ❤️❤️❤️❤️ off when you don't like the service.

How about you play a game you enjoy playing.

Explain why you don't just play another game?

Why do you play a game you don't enjoy?

And the mods do ban vulgar people, I know for a FACT I've had a lot of the toxic trolls on here banned/gagged due to my own reports.

If you can't be constructive and sensible, it will happen, that simple.

It amazes me how many people don't get this, they act like EA forces them to play

It isn't backwards in the slightest. A lot of people just don't understand how the right to free speech works.

Go buy a beer in a bar and begin loudly complaining about crappy of a bar it is. See how long that lasts.

Not if you'd already received the service (which is to say, a night in the room). In this case, the product paid for is the game, unless you can show me on the packaging where access to the official forum is an included service that you are actually paying for. You still have the game.

You pay for the game for the life of the game so as long as the game is out he can sit in the lobby and tell everyone it's bull-❤️❤️❤️❤️ all he wants.
