Made no sense to me - a new league - perfect to dig into the Japanese market that PES dominated due to licence previously being solely with them.

You would think they'd want to encourage it as much as possible with special cards

Two things are great mysteries of the world: the mind of women and the mind of EA

Itll always be a mystery to me why they don’t bother just putting more special cards from smaller leagues into the game. So what if no one uses them?

So Kawasaki won last night against Urawa 1-0 meaning the title race comes down to the last week! If Kawasaki wins at home against Omiya, Kashima NEEDS 3 points away at Jubilo since Kawasaki would win on GD should Kashima tie.

    Can’t wait to watch :sunglasses:

Wow quite the title race! When’s the game?

    Saturday at 12 am EST

So sad there is no source to watch here.

I think they can make it through that group.

Obviously there's a lot of decent players in each of those teams, but I think they could surprise.

Gonna fully embrace the Japanese football fan role seeing as the US wont be there! Need to find some good team preview content

I'll be there for both Japan and Australia.

Looking forward to it, should be a ripper of a tournament.

I'm also very interested in who makes the final 23 for Japan.

Very happy with the draw for Japan! Can’t say I’m looking forward to the groups for Korea and Australia though, two tough ones.

Kawasaki scored before my stream even loaded

As it stands, Kawasaki are champions! Still way to early to say that with conviction

Kashima are on the back foot after 25 minutes. They don’t look like possible champions. Kawasaki on the other hand are taking it to Omiya, but it’s still 1-0

    Still a lot of time

    Kawasaki score again!!

Kashima now MUST get all 3 points or Kawasaki are champions since it seems Frontale have their game handled easily

Leandro has the possibility of an easy tap in to put Kashima in the lead but his strike partner doesn’t let it roll past him and shoots wide. Getting intense

Frontale now lead 3-0 with Kobayashi getting his second. What an IF that would be!

Kashima looking really threatening...but there is only 10 minutes left and they need a goal. It’s getting intense!

5 minutes of added time for Kashima to get a goal. End to end game, been a joy to watch as a neutral

Kengo Nakamura crying, Yu Kobayashi crying, hundreds of fans crying for both Kashima and Kawasaki alike. This league is incredible.

Gen Shoji holding back tears in his interview :disappointed:

Today we also say an official goodbye to Ventforet Kofu, Omiya Ardija, and Albirex Niigata

And say hello to new FIFA faces V-Varen Nagasaki, and familiar faces Shonan Bellmare and the winner of Nagoya Grampus/Avispa Fukouka!

A great year of K-League/J-League. Can’t wait for February!

Is it Kawasaki’s first J league champion? This explains Nakamura’s crying?
