These are strictly personal and take into account that I'm only 19 so have only listed my favourite/ or the best players I've seen since I was 2 my my perspective. I put Neymar on the list as he was my favourite player at Barcã and was had grown into a world class player who had kept us in important matches that Messi was unable to and therefore is one of the best IMO.

Those who say Gerrard wasn't a world class player don't know anything about football. And I m not talking only about titles and honors. If you look Gerrard purely through his abilities and characteristics as a player, he could literally play and perform in every position bar GK. One of the GOATs. One man army.

This massive fanfare for Scholes as amongst the all time greats only really began when Tevez said that Scholes was the best player he has ever played with. Before that his status was well respected but nowhere near this.
People need to realise that when Tevez said that he was trolling Messi, as they were having a spat with Tevez being dropped from the national team as a result. But a lot of United fans seem to take him at his words and thinks Scholes should be one of the best players of all time which is probably a tad too far.
