IMO cheap, no risk and high potential if they release the right sbcs.

You're right with marquee matchups, but i see a possibility in road to glory. Even if its not that likely to be true
this could be interesting. But, if all they do is change the colour of the card for, say, Cahill as he's off to the WC, without any increase in stats, whats the point ?
And I cant see them increasing dozens of players, and there's silver n bronzes there.

Some interesting, selected players such as Kimmich would only be available interchangeably via an SBC. You would need for the teams either a random TOTWCQ player + HR NIF team or 1 IF + HR NIF team.
The jerseys are sometimes simply given away or taken out as a weekly task.
Variant 2:
All World Cup players, including the playoff teams, will receive a (NOT updated) special card in this design:
Level 1 - "Contender"
Once the squads are determined, these cards will be adapted in their card design and become live items, as WC OTWs, which can be boosted at any time.
Level 2 - "Selected"
The team of the World Cup will once again be honored with significantly improved values:
There will only be small SBCs for packs or jerseys. Terms will be similar to last year's Flash SBCs or similar to current Marquee matchup games.
Would currently invest only in cheap repulsion IFs cheap 83 / 84er NIFs!

I didn't miss anything, and I guess you did lots of stuff instead) fut is very addictive thing. First two years I was really hanged, now I play much less and do some focused trading to get coins for big times (tots and such).. not really interested in Toty, cause they are not value for money.

Yes, have a few 50k packs, mega packs and 2 rare packs. Most likely keep most packs till TOTY

I bought some OTW Gyilfi for low price as they will play against Qatar on Tuesday ,Hype and a good performance will rise his price for sure
