1990 team too, well, mainly Matthaus. Gasgoignes tears in the semis are one of defining memories I have of football tbh

And 1954, we always won against all odds :joy: re-watched a documentary on 1954 lately and my god that Hungary team just dominated football like it wasn't even funny anymore. Went 4 years unbeaten, smashed England 6-3, England wanted revenge, got smashed 7-1 :joy:

Liverpool's "Istanbul" comeback in the Champions League final (2005)
Personally for me it was Man United coming back and winning the Champions League in 1999, but Liverpool's comeback was special too.

I'm a football fan first and I don't buy into petty rivalries (apart from for banter purposes at my local). If an English club is in a European competition I support them, until they play my team of course, but if my team are outplayed I'll applaud the better side.

The ronaldinho goal vs Chelsea where he danced and toe poked a beautiful shot past cech.

I remember screaming in a pillow as I couldn't believe it.

Unfortunately Barca conceded 1 more and got knocked out. Those 2 teams battling each other over the last 10+ years have been one of my favorite match ups.

United in 99 was better than Liverpools comeback.

Exactly, won us the proper treble. What made it even more special, was the fact we had lost our two most influential midfielders with Roy Keane, Paul Scholes missing through suspension.

He was a great player. I used to collect PAnini stickers and those Corinthian football figures that had chocolate (gross quality) eggs around them. Had so many!!

    YES @coatsy2008

I was obsessed with micro stars when i was a kid. I had hundreds of them!

I remember getting this 90's Italian football collection that had Gullit, Maradona, Gazza, MVB, Maldini etc.

This one actually gives me goosebumps when you watch the highlights despite not being a City fan. I would of voted other for one of our own but thought I'd select one of the options as there is some fantastic moments there :+1:
