4231 is what I'm using for the last 40 games. Your cams are very involved, and the CDMs can add some passes and keep your defense safe. I also use a targetman as a st (ibra), and the CAMs kinda plays for him
Defensively it's great as you've got two cdms
And also attacking using cams instead of wingers.
im thinking to build around 92 kante...using him as cdm or using 90 luiz as cdm ( but i guess he will not work well) and kante as cam ( wondering if he will do his job attacking...)
You need fast and agile cdms, to break up play of the opposition.
according to you...something like this would work?
I'm not sure about marchisio at cdm tho.
I would replace him with radja
What about kante ? You Think his gonna working properly there ? Will be JUST a "waste" in that position?
This is deadly
The central CAM should be the more conventional CAM to me

What I find between 4231 and 433(4) which I used to play is that the wide CAMS are slightly narrower than the wingers in 433 which helps with support to the lone striker, and they drift into the space between the full backs and the centre backs. I tend to keep the central cam on balanced defence too so that he links up the defensive midfielders with the attack minded players and finds the space "in the hole". with Kante (M/H) and Can (M/M) I find that they are great at breaking up play and tend to alternate which one has pushed forward quite well. They also cover the full backs well when they are caught further up the pitch.
