Bonucci slept on 2 occasions while marking Suarez and Messi can cause problems out of nowhere plus they have 3 exceptional actors in Suarez, Neymar and Busquets.

Some of the refs calls in both matches were poor, but you can't deny that RM deserved to go through. They had much better and more goal opportunities than Bayern, but due to poor finishing and the worlds best keeper they didn't score a ton of goals.

Disagree. When Bayern had 11 men on the pitch they were on par with Real Madrid. You also got to consider that Boateng and Hummels weren't fit today and that red card killed them long term.

Who had the best goal opportunities? RM did. Just look at the goals in both matches in regular play. Bayern scored on a corner, a very questionable pen and a own goal. Martinez got double yellow in the first leg, and that was his own fault. After that, RM had a TON of goalscoring chances and should've scored atleast 4 goals. In this match RM once again should've scored atleast 4 goals in regular play.. Kroos had 2 gigantic chances, that should've been goals and Ronaldo missed some great opportunities aswell.

And why should I consider that Boateng and Hummels wasn't up to their best? That's irrelevant. So because they wasn't at their best, Bayern deserved to go through? What kind of logic is that?

BTW. Hummels was AMAZING in this match. So many last seconds slide tackles that saved Bayern over and over again.

Well if they have poor finishing then they don't deserve to score, this isn't supposed to be FIFA 17 logic where apparently is whoever has the most shots deserves to win or if the goalkeeper saves a bunch. Bayern were the better team in the first 90 minutes and half of extra time

exactly lol. Apparently Madrid against 10 men means they are better. make the game 10 v 10 and bayern would be through to the semis

He is right tho. Just because the referee was dreadful, does not change the fact that the Bayern players made some foolish decisions throughout the two legs.

I agree that Barcelona could make it interesting, but I just can't see that back line conceding four goals unless something catastrophic happens or major match fixing is evident.

But I'm not wrong? RM did have more goalscoring chances than Bayern. That's just a fact. The ref was poor, and I'm not saying that Bayern didn't get some wrong calls against them.

From that angle it is, but on other camera angles it's not that clear that he even touched him. He came too late for the challenge, and that's probably why the pen was given.

He hits a player who is in full sprint, so he loses balance without touching the ball. This is a crystal CLEAR penalty AND a CLEAR yellow card. The only reason this gets discussed because it was Robben, who made some dives in his career. On the other hand, Casemiro is diving into Boateng trying to trick the referee.

"More shots" doesn't mean they deserve to score. The only player in Madrid who is clinical is Ronaldo, the others are just average in finishing. Also a GK is part of the team as well, if you can't beat him, then how this does make you deserve to go through ? The best non-goal opportunity in the game had Robben btw. when Marcelo cleared on the line in 2nd half.
