On loan James Maddison gives Aberdeen the lead with a brilliant solo effort.

2 great wins, especially over Rangers. And just like that you're up to 2nd, not too shabby.

From the dumps to the dinner party, amazing what two results can do. And two clean sheets to boot. :)

What a great goal by Maddison there... Fully deserved win against a tough opponent.
And great win also against Ross. That scoreboard with the stadium is brilliant too! :)

Yes! You started slow, but you're now second... You recovered in no time!
Also not giving up and scoring the winner in the stoppage time isn't only dramatic, it shows you were believing in it and that's all important.

And now, time to bridge that gap at the top! :)

Great run by Burns, especially when injured. Lucky with the goalie but they all count, great last minute winner.

Is the injury going to keep him out for long or was it just a knock?

To be honest, it's hard to see Celtic dropping many points between now and the end of the season, they seem a class above both in game and in real life. Drawn away to them in the Scottish Cup as well. :#

Just a knock thankfully, Burns and Storey both actually came on with 10 minutes to go, great impact players to bring on when the opposition are tiring.

Hamilton at home next, great opportunity for 4 in a row.

Wasn't to be sadly, assumed the job was done when I got the opener, switched off and conceded immediately.

2-4 very tight. Need to get back to winning ways and put some distance between you and the rest.

Disappointing draw against a team with only one win but still holding on to second place. Celtic...what can you say but damn!

Yeah, it looks like a tight race for 2nd...
Shame conceding the equalizer to Hamilton, but at least you're still 2nd. Need to start winning again though.

going on an undefeated run now which is good, some big wins there too, problem is Celtic are miles away, it's going to take a lot for anyone to catch them

Oh dear, that defeat against St. Johnstone ruined a perfect month... Still second though, time to defeat the Hearts and then take on Celtic... Keep it up!

Aberdeen was on a bit of tear before St. Johnstone brought them back to earth. At least you gained a point on Celtic. Good luck with the forthcoming match against them. :)

In a November interrupted by international breaks, Aberdeen played just two Scottish Premiership matches against Hearts and Celtic, losing both. The latter is likely to have a bigger impact on their season and means they drop to 4th position, and now sit 13 points behind the runaway leaders. Second place is now the realistic aim as they look to put an end to a run of three successive defeats.

Dons boss, Derek McInnes, has branded the fixture scheduling over the Christmas period as "ludicrous" as his side must travel to Glasgow no fewer than four times in the month of December. Aberdeen will host Ross County on Christmas Eve, but have away games against Motherwell, Hamilton Accies, Partick Thistle and Rangers.

"I just don't know how they come up with this, each of these games is a 6 hour round trip, so to make us do it four times in three weeks is ludicrous." Said a perplexed McInnes. "Christmas is a time for spending with family and friends, but our fans will be spending most of the time on the road. When you throw in the potential for adverse weather conditions and possible postponements it's easy to see why it concerns me. We'll have to get on with it though and recover from a run which has simply been not good enough, starting with Motherwell on Saturday."

    Oh dear, that's pretty grim.
Don't give up, only three points separate you from 2nd... Keep it up!

It was always going to be difficult to win the title in your first season with how strong Celtic are but hopefully you can close the gap

Ye Celtic were always going to be a huge target to beat, probably a bit too much. Still a very tight race for 2nd though right now.

Well crap, both Celtic and Hearts outdid you twice now, but still in a good position to reach second place. Motherwell will be a tough match, but the next three are certainly winnable and good preparation for a year ending match with the Rangers.

Was always gonna be tough to track Celtic down. But season is actually progressing fairly well. Second is very possible still.
