    Drop Trott
Bell because he scores no runs in 5 innings then gets a hundred, far too inconsistent
Broad, can't bat now too inconsistent with the ball, also down on pace from a couple of years ago
Ali- Been poor with the bat and apart from India who famously can't play offspin he has been meh with the ball
    Bring in Lyth
    Rashid
    Wood
Then Vince/Taylor, would have been 100% Vince but he hasn't had the best start to the season

Couldn't believe how much pace he had lost from a few years ago when I turned it on for a session against the Windies the other day....One over he averaged about 78mph

IPL has been great so far, going to be interesting to see who qualifies from here :o Quite a few young players looking good, fun seeing Tambe and Hogg still doing so well though.

Was much better last year tbh. Many more close games than this time

    Yeah I'd agree.

    Anureet bowled well there.

Think that nose injury has really made him decline in both aspects, he said he still has nightmares about that. Shame.

Doesn't matter if his replacement isn't allowed to pick his own team

I don't expect much to change. I'm not even sure what kind of job the "Director of Cricket" does for the ECB. I'm not a big supporter of KP coming back, but I can't imagine the KP fans will be too happy about Strauss' appointment.

Brilliant Yorkshire have all their players back to play us, and we have 2 of our top 7 out injured
Would be surprised if this went longer than three days

Beat his highest ever first class score of 254 as well, not a bad innings

Anyone here play cricket irl? If so, what do you do?

I'd probably class myself as an all rounder. I bowl leg spin and bat about 5-6, not a bad fielder either.

    300! huge innings
And yeh I play but not at any decent level, bowl medium pace and bat down the order lol, can only play leg side shots and cuts , leave anything outside off

I'm the opposite, the amount of times I get caught at square leg trying to flick the ball off my legs is ridiculous.

Unfortunately work weekends due to the nature of my job. No sunday league around where I live anyway. it's all Saturday league 45 over stuff :)

Confirmed to be on the way to a meeting with Strauss, although Piers reckons it's to tell him he won't play again

I hope Piers is wrong, Surely they can't ignore a score like that
