It's 6 of the 11 players in the FIFA 2014 Team of the Year just with Marcelo and Alves who are typical LB and RB for Ronaldo and Messi. Boateng for a Link to Neuer and arguably Chelsea's 2 most important players last season.
Can't believe this. I wait 6 months for squad builders to come back then miss the first **** week. Sorry @Chow I was ill Friday and Saturday so didn't check my computer or anything. I shouldn't be missing anymore fixtures, as long as they come out on work days.

Yeah, I normally only look at the forums when I'm at work, but Friday I was at home sick so I never even saw it. Oh well, pressure off for the season now I guess since I won't be competing at the top...
I mention this at the very bottom of the results, but I figured I should mention it again so people aren't confused. Fixture 2 will be released in the coming days - a theme hasn't been finalised. This is different to how LT organised things (he released the results and the next fixture at the same time).
I'd also like to thank @Sokker14 for his help with brainstorming themes, Fixture 1 was his idea.
The return of Clash of the Squad Builders saw a real mixed bag as veterans and pretenders alike battled it out in the new divisions format. However, there was one squad that stood out in particular.
Congratulations to @Rumplefish - his Hero Zlatan Ibrahimović squad impressed the judges with its mix of creative and effective players; the use of the False 9, which notoriously has tough links for hybrids, makes it even more special.

In future fixtures, please double-check before submitting, and ensure your squad is applicable to the confines of the criteria provided. Failing to follow the criteria on multiple occasions may also result in your removal from the game.
With 9 more fixtures to go, all is certainly still to play for!
Details on Fixture 2 will be released in the coming days. Unfortunately, what with uni work, etc. I won't be as efficient as LT was in Season 1 at releasing results and fixtures. Add to that the time it takes for the the judges to score each squad, and I hope you can forgive us for any delays.

I know chow has put all 40 squads together, its now just waiting for the votes from judges.
It may take a while i imagine since it's not a small task to rate 40 teams.
