I asked you guys who you think is a bigger loss. I know who I would say is the bigger loss. But you're the fans so you will of course know who you prefer in your team.
Anyway I rate Matip as top 10 CB in the league, so while I think Jota is a bigger loss, it's not that much worse to lose him.

Draw seemed to be the deserved result, I felt, in the end. Our midfield couldn’t really cope, which is why a technician in there is so important (Thiago).
If we win our game in hand against Leeds at Anfield, then we’re 8 points behind, which isn’t insurmountable. A long way to go yet.
Terribly unlucky these past few weeks with COVID and injuries, otherwise we’d still be within 3 points, imo.
Klopps fault for resting on his laurels, that midfield absolutely stinks and I just know for a fact he’ll give everyone a hug and act like it’s okay. Milner and Henderson are a disgrace, don’t care about loyalty they’re both shocking. Call yourself a midfielder but can’t control a ball, laughable. Salah carries this Sunday league team.

Chalobah lacks a bit of quality but he is nowhere near that bad. Young and inexperienced but would 100% be a regular in a mid table team.
Also is there a better number 7 on world football than Milner!
