It just had to be Origi didn’t it :D fair play to him. He’s contributing far more than expected this season

I hope you’re feeling a bit better about our defence now too.

Not massively, but we have been on a good run since the West Ham disasterclass so we may have turned a corner. Not conceding allows us to have off days in front of goal and still win, just like today, so hopefully this continues !

I can't even consider West Ham a disaster at this point, as they've managed to do the same to Chelsea. They've just proven themselves to be top four contenders this season and capable of nicking points off the top teams, Moyes has done well with West Ham.

They’re a good side. No shame in losing to them. Still think we were a shambles defensively against them though. Good to see we’re not the only top side they’ve beaten

He has an incredible knack for popping up with late winners. Incredible supersub. The media would be all over him like they were with Ole back in the days if he was a United player.

West Ham have beaten each of the top three now & United and Spurs too. They’re definitely in the mix for 4th.

Thiago and Fabinho in midfield is unbelievable, by the way.

It almost doesn’t matter who takes the third CM slot, although Henderson has been fantastic too.

They’ve played a big part in the way we’ve absolutely dominated Arsenal, Southampton, Everton and Wolves since the International break ended. An aggregate score of 13-1.

Robertson is back to his best as well. Looks like the threat of losing his place to Tsimikas has fired him up. TAA has simply continued to perform at an elite level.

The defence looks imperious again. Especially VVD. We’ve been able to rotate Matip and Konate around without a noticeable drop in quality.

As for the forwards. I almost have no words. Salah, Jota and Mane are all sitting pretty amongst the top 4 slots in the goalscoring charts. That’s insane. Firmino has missed most of the season, but still has 4 League goals to his name. Origi and Minamino have managed to contribute as well.

We are currently looking every bit as good as our 18/19 and 19/20 sides.

Yeah the resemblance to 18/19 and 19/20 is there, especially with our latest win. The ability to fight until the end and grab a result as the other team tires is one of our best attributes.

It'll be nice to see a fully fit midfield of Thiago, Fab, and Elliott once he returns. We only got a glimpse of it before Harvey was injured but I think that will be our best midfield based on how Harvey was before his injury. The chemistry Elliott was building with Salah looked similar to how Hendo played against Everton with the constant linkup play with Salah and Overlapping.

Our team is now in full stride and rinsing teams consistently, it's a shame that AFCON might disrupt that a bit.

Can’t wait for Elliot to return. Hopefully he picks up where he left off. I reckon he would have bagged about 5 goals by now.

Origi has 6 G/A in 313 minutes this season.

I can’t stop laughing at how much the Origi hate has backfired :D

Well you could argue it isn't since we have had some Finnish players.

Bit before your time but what a defender Hyypiä was.

Yep. Also had Litmanen but only for a short time and not prime Litmanen, shame about his injuries.

Ramsdale with 6 flying well under the radar, impressive tbh.

Wouldn't call it under the radar, with how much he's been hyped up since he signed for Arsenal.

Pretty impressive for the "3rd" best defence in the league.

We're so lucky to have Fabinho and Thiago. Watching them together since the International break has been mesmerising.

Easily 2 of the best midfielders in the League.

Thiago's defensive work gets overlooked by so many. He's been unreal with his tackling and pressing.

That clip kinda encapsulates them, winning the ball back between them high up and then Thiago starts another attack.
