My engagement has completely gone and it’s turned me in to a complete #%€$ (insert swear word of your choice).

I think I have quit 400+ games.
And my punishment? Absolutely nothing.
Only reason I have not quit completely is because I paid for the game and co op.
We start to see the lasting effects of the latest patches I think it is safe to say that we would all like FIFA 22 back in its original form. Yes the keepers were superhuman at close range, yes the keepers turned to mush when the ball was struck from distance, yes certain cards seemed to have out of this world abilities, but … the game was predictable, the game was manageable and most of all, the game was fun. At this stage, it appears that once again the gameplay is slightly moving in the wrong direction and certainly the return of a more drop-back-through-ball meta has emerged in spades

First of all the game wasn't fun, it was bare annoying. You created a well worked chance, saved. Oh let me shoot from 30m instead, easy goal.
Second of all through balls didn't change. I posted clips of inshallah ball like day 1 or 2. The difference is that more people learned how to play this game while others are falling behind and are now crying.
Drop back ain't a thing. Literally nobody uses drop back. People are using certain instructions (stay back/come back), but those have been advertised in youtube videos from day 1 (well in fact all day every day since instructions became a thing years ago). On next gen the game defends for you and drops back automatically, but again it has been there since day 1. That's why people are switching to old gen.
I don't know where this warped perception comes from that the game was good or fun at release. EA changed almost nothing, but the few things they did change made the game better. Nerf keepers from close range and nerf long range shots.

(from my point of view the game is 100% not the game i was playing pre patch 3 considering how minimal changes were noted down)
LS dribbling is absolutely broken ( also lots complaining about this)
Passing is very inaccurate (even pros / CC's have been complaining)
long delayed/extra animations is also causing a delay feel
First touch is absolutely dreadful unless you do a driven pass.

but I do agree Auto Drop back on next gen HAS to go it's gamebreaking and absolutely horrible to see, and also agree the game has never been good, but it was playable for me now its not playable.

I'm here! After the patch the gameplay is terrible,unplayable. I was happy up to that moment. I have decided to close my EA play subscription until I receive news of a corrective patch. The players don't move completely, they look like puppets and the AI goes dumb.
Got a grand total of about 6-7 good games in FUT champs today. Everything else is an absolute atrocity
You can’t even function on the field. Can’t dribble, pass, shoot, defend. Lose every 50-50. Opps can intercept balls they were no where close to. Opps can block shots without being near the shot. It’s doing my head in.

play half game and instantly shut off my xbox no idea wtaf is going on, never raged so much at a game and i played 2k+ games on 21, 2k+ on 20, 2k+ on 19.
tried one more, uninstalled.. not playing fifa until Patch 4.

Im not the only one then played 6 rivals couldnt win a game hell cant even shoot tackle pass yet the opponent on my palyers like a rocket. Dribbling far to OP its a joke every patch makes this worse. All i ask for is a FAIR chance not this c...p

as i said on previous threads u basically go around the forum saying theres not lag or server issues in fifa

It's unresponsive as hell. I liked it very much from the beginning and before the latest patch.
