if you have ultimate edition personally unless you work weekends save your 10hrs or as much as possible for Friday,Sat,Sun so less wait time untill 27th lol
i'll do the starting stuff on wednesday evening then log off and not touch it until Friday, will just find myself wasting the 10hrs mid-week.

If same as last year I think it was to play as many squad battles as possible to get big rewards, don't think there was a rivals option to benefit from.

Gameplay is always slow at the start, I think every year they've slowed it down, it's just because basic teams, as the special cards come in and pace gets higher everything speeds up.
Usually I would mainly concentrate on Squad Battles during Early Access.
However, having just found a Screenshot I saved entitled "Garbage SB Rewards" from grinding for Elite 1 Rewards for the first week of FIFA 21, I think I'll find another method this year.

In fact ill probably be on webapp for a while before I even get to the console just so I can get a competitive team assembled
Don't forget to completely close trial when done playing or the timer keeps ticking and 10hours will turn to zero super quick
