Money bags?

Go on then. Tell me how much money you have spent on this game?

Be Honest!

I have not spent a penny but it shows as I have no where near as good a team as 90% of my opponents.

Stopped spending last year (other than 12k points to get it started).....the value for the money is so appalling that nobody should spend.

Looks like about $1200. I've never spent on previous Fifa's, but knew I didn't want to grind away at this one the way I have in past ones. I've enjoyed having a really good team, but it's not mind blowing by any stretch. I do enjoy feeling like I don't have to do every objective and play every minute. I don't know, it's probably not worth it, but it's also not a concerning amount of money to me. I probably won't spend on next year's again.

I pity anyone that does throw money at this game, be it an extra 5a, or 5k. It's really not needed, give it the homeless instead.

That point rings pretty hollow. Charitable giving is not limitless. Discretionary income is named as such for a reason. At some point your charitable giving ends and discretionary spending begins, especially since not many people will argue that you should merely live a subsistence lifestyle. If an individual is happy with the amount of money (or more importantly, time) that he contributes to others, then that is all that really matters.

I spent about £20 in fifa 17 and not a penny since. It would cost me about £3k to but the team I’d really like and that is never happening so I’m not spending anything.

I just can’t believe people spend extra money on the game when it refreshes every year. Imagine you’d spent a grand a year since fifa 12. That’s more money than the deposit of my first house!
  • Zero in the last 3 years as the game keeps getting worse, before that I would usually spend 300-400 a year

£40-£50 on FPs ... clubs worth around 12m coins ... from those FPs I probably only made around 100-200k though ... all my coins have have come from rewards, trading and gambling.

Fair play for your honesty. Most people wouldn’t be. I’ve also spent money on this game, albeit nothing like $1200. My reason / theory for spending this year is that there’s nothing much to do in the uk with the lockdowns, and the winter weather. I don’t like watching tv so all I’ve really had is fifa. That’ll change as we leave lockdown and I can have more of a social life again

It’s a form of gambling and people want the best teams. If you have the money then you may as well spend it. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I would never spend on the game as the stats of my players are far to variable game to game.

I have had Messi for a few months now and some games he is pinpoint accurate, yet others he couldn’t hit a cows arse with a banjo and that just happens to coincide with every other player on my team in those games.

For the people who claim they spent zero, how much time do you spending trading? Would be interesting to see.
Are better off spending a bit here a there to avoid spending hours on end trading
