Lag compensation is the way EA level the playing field, so you can never take your wins as your own.

    ..... pure fact[/quote]

Been that way for a good few years now sadly. Played in an online fifa league for about 4-5years, and even the guys there would say that some of the wins were not down to their controlling of their players. And Yes FIfa 21 has felt more like that with every passing week. It throws in a few games that you have literally no control on the out come of. Balls bouncing of players like a game of ping pong, passes going astray or nowhere near their intended target. Frustrated? Yup.

Seems like we are having similar issues although mine only started a couple of weeks ago.

I’m in the same situation, I live 20 miles from London servers, had a decent connection from release until late Nov, but since this connection monitoring thingy was introduced my gameplay has turned to ice skating delay, players not turning, taking heavy touches, not making runs, no power in their shots etc.

Only get an hour or so a day now where it’s remotely playable.

Would love for people who claim to have delay all the time to just upload a full game.

I don’t need to prove what I know is happening, I’ve been playing FIFA since ‘94...

What is it with this guy? 🤷‍♂️

People are also claiming they "know" or "played enough fifa" to notice scripting.

Doesn't change the fact that they don't know anything.

Obvious questions would be why you keep playing when it basically happens 23 hours a day and why you can't/don't want to show it.

It's so funny to see 2 people basically having the exact same reaction when being asked about uploading some gameplay. Suddenly it's not important to show the issues anymore, suddenly it's more important to quickly deflect from it and personally attack someone so that he hopefully leaves it.

For the record moaning without showing examples is stupid. Even if the devs were reading the forums it wouldn't help them. If you wanted to give actual feedback you would include videos.

But ofc that's not your intention.

If the devs don’t know about delay by now they are in the wrong job 😂

I will moan about delay along with everyone else until EA fix it, simple as that.

Sanctimonious people won’t change that. End of.

I have delay in a game I enjoy, it’s a curse, but one I’ve put up with for many years.

Just be thankful that you don’t, I think it’s because you think you are so great and it’s all down to your input..... well it ain’t mate.

So do I need bad con to get compensated or good con and live next to my server?

What if I say to you that pro players and streamers also got enough of delay? Last weekend, Fuji stopped WL stream completely frustrated by delay. Anders - the wonder kid was complaining about delay in his game against HugeGorilla.

Fuji is a Gold1/Elite 3 player and he's streaming so I don't know how that affects his con.

Anders doesn't have the qualifier mode so in tournaments he's usually playing p2p and yes it can obviously be laggy then.

I am not saying there is no delay. ofc there is delay. I'm just questioning the people who claim that basically every single one of their games is delayed and asking for some video evidence. If it's delayed at 6pm UK time cool, but is there a difference at night time, how much of a difference and so on.

I'm also questioning why people keep playing if they don't have delay free gameplay ever.

I'm UK also. I wasn't going to buy this FIFA after the delay was so bad in the last one. I already had EA access so played the 10 hours and I had no delay at all so I caved and bought it. First 2 weeks every single game was perfectly smooth and it was amazing.

Then....delay came back. Delay so bad it dictated that I would lose to inferior players and have zero chance of winning some games.

I sold the game at the end of November. Being addicted to something where you have little input in to who wins is just madness - not that it was easy to say goodbye. My weekends and headspace in general are much better now that I don't play FIFA. I would strongly recommend you or anyone do the same as EA are not going to change.

In my case, it is delayed almost everyday. The delay is much stronger between 6-9 and during weekends. I even tried setting an alarm for 3 am on Saturday and the game was still delayed.

The reasons why people are still playing are probably : 1.there is no competition in online football games, nothing they can play to substitute FIFA with 2. They are addicted to casino mechanics which has been successfully developed by behavioral psychologists and behavioral economists employed by EA 3. They are in lockdown and bored
