    Great club
  • Seems Koeman is keen on grabbing some Feyenoord players next window, hope you guys got the money.

We do, spent -£25m last year and have billionaire Swiss owners. Pretty sure we'll get Clasie to replace Schneiderlin.

Stoke are set to be missing Moses, Bojan, Muniesa, Pieters and Wilson whilst Southampton are without Victor Wanyama due to suspension.

    Likely Southampton starting 11:

Looks like we're going to bring in Byram or Trippier as the replacement, both young and English which fits the criteria.

Trippier's number are ridiculous, basically a right back version of Baines. Would cost even less if Burnley get relegated.

You seen the stuff about Hernandez possibly being involved in a deal for Clyne?

Will Ryan Bertrand hinder Matt Targett's development?

Saido scored a nice goal against you the other week, you were unlucky that game though, missed a few good chances. boing boing

@Coops think it'd be a great deal personally, if we managed to get Hernandez as well as £8-£12m it'd be a great signing.

@Sloosh I think it'll be great for him to learn off Bertrand for a few years, will aid his development if anything.

@Chapel great goal by a decent player, think you'll keep hold of him?

Sadly no, he has great potential but I think his head isn't all there. Seems like a bit of an attitude problem. If we can get some decent money for him it may work out well for us and the side that gets him, providing they screw his head on a bit. Reckon you may go for him?

Think he's a level above us to be honest, will most likely end up at Liverpool for a decent sum of money.

Hmm no I think he could do a decent job, I'd have liked to have seen him and Long together when they were both with us as they could compliment each other well. How is Shane doing?

He was never a £12m player but he's decent enough, puts in a hell of a shift and won us quite a few points. Does a good job for the team with his energy but not entirely sure it was the best move.

Yup sounds like how he was for us. I don't think he was 12m up front, I think it's a good move for less money. I don't think you're in dire financial straights anyway haha.

Tbf hasn't Shane being playing on the wing a lot? Not really going to be at his best there

Pretty much always used out right, does a lot of running. Sometimes though we're going for a 3-5-2 and he plays just off Pelle and he looks pretty decent there, at one point it was him and Mane up top and we looked pretty good.

Think he is excellent at leading the line, really good at pressing defenders and pretty strong+ quick. Kind of wasted on the right tbh.

I know 12 mill was a lot but not exactly done a bad job.

    We've gone 3-5-2;

    Davis
    Clyne - Yoshida - Alderweireld - Fonte - Bertrand
    Schneiderlin - Davis
    Tadic
    Mane - Pelle

Stoke away is always a tricky fixture, no shame in losing there.

Game next week against Spurs is massive, would be nice if Southampton could finish in the top 6 after the season they've had.

    Southampton 2-2 Tottenham Hotspur
    Pelle x2 - Lamela, Chadli

Good game where we probably could have stolen it with a bit of luck. Lamela goal was handball and shouldn't have stood and the first Pelle goal was a huge mistake by Tottenham LB Ben Davies. Davies and Schneiderlin both picked up season-ending injuries in this game.
