Think we've all but ended our own title hopes after the draw at Dens a couple of weeks ago.

Was gonna head down but 12:15 on a Sunday is shameful organisation yet again by all involved. Always thought of Rugby park as a bogey ground for us, surprised to see we've won the last 6 head to heads.

Tremendous username by the way. :D

  • Sorry man, had to change the title so it would fit with the rest of the section. Not to take anything away from the world famous club though.

Aberdeen vs. Partick Thistle (15:00 GMT)
    Scottish Premiership

Celtic's win last night all but ends the title race so it's all about wrapping up 2nd spot as soon as possible, especially after last year's disaster.

The players will have a point to prove after a disappointing draw at Dundee before the international break and I'm fully expecting the three points here. We've beaten Partick to nil in 5 of the 6 games since their return to the top flight and given our general home form this season it's hard to look past the same outcome this afternoon.

0-0, maybe the worst football match of all time. Partick came for the point and got it.

Only positive was that Inverness drew as well. 8 point gap with 8 to play, beating them on Wednesday night will all but guarantee 2nd.

I know its just sportscene highlights but partick looked like they could have killed the game had taylor stuck his chances away, no idea why Hayes 1 on 1 was chopped off nothing wrong with that at all.

Yeah he should have had a couple. That's about all they did though, I'd say 80% of the game was in their half. Tell me about it, last few weeks have been dreadful re: big decisions going against us, the handball against Dundee was beyond belief.

Aberdeen vs. Inverness Caledonian Thistle (19:45 GMT)
    Scottish Premiership

Looks like a big game but I'm fairly confident we'll finish 2nd even if the unthinkable were to happen tonight. A win and it's an 11 point gap with 7 games to play.

Simply cannot play any worse than we did against Partick on Saturday, hopefully we've seen the last of Willo Flood in an Aberdeen shirt; the partnership of him and Ryan Jack doesn't, and never will work.

Inverness have lost their last two on the road to Motherwell and Partick and have only one once (against the doomed St. Mirren) in their last seven in the league.

It's a fine night for it anyway, hopefully see some goals, I'll go 2-1 to the good guys.

1-0 win, Ash Taylor just after half time to all but guarantee 2nd place.

Brechin City vs. Aberdeen just kicked off as pre season begins, strong team out, should be a comfortable win.
