Just played 5 games on rivals and in 4 of them when I had a goal kick their defenders were at the edge of their own box. Is this what this game is now? Defend with nine players then boot it up to fast strikers? Wasn't that what a previous fifa became? 20 maybe?

I play 70 depth and sometimes there’ll be someone short and the next time all are by the halfway line, it’s cost me sometimes when I take a short one and nobody is there.
Just press L1 and they will go into the box.

Defence is way too strong. Whoever says attacking is OP is just playing against ❤️❤️❤️❤️ players
If defence was way too strong most games would be 1-0 or 0-0 which isn't the case. Its real easy to score in this game.
If attack was so strong then every game would finish 9-9, which isnt the case. Its not easy enough to break down the defence AI which is why everyone pulls everyone back and spam through balls.

I don’t think that’s the case because I play balance but my two defenders drop deep and sometimes left back would play everyone on site..There are cases when you call defenders back on goal kicks but the keeper still wave them forward when you’re trying to play from the back..I think is just a bad coding and ai is either too smart or too dumb every other game.
I average about 3-4 goals a game in champs. Scoring goals is easy on this game.
Looking at my experience, I dont concede any goals in 90% of my games in champs. Shows you how hard it is to break down a defence and it shouldnt be like that.
Even little Timmy in division X can defend well if he pulls everyone back and doesn't touch the defenders much at all

Not at all "buddy" I've played higher up and it's still not a big issue scoring goals. I've played over 1300 games and not once have I ever thought "it sure is hard to score on this game"
Well, you only average 3 goals per game and I average far less then a goal a game against. You do the math. If attacking was as easy as you make it sound then I should concede many per game aswell.
The defensive AI is way too strong and is only in place to help the lower ranked players out. Which in return means that most divisions consist of the same kind of players with little difference in between as everyone struggles to score. Except you ofcours.
I haven't touched rivals this season as I'm trying to squeeze a few more months out of the game so it's just WL and first owner fiesta for me until I get bored and quit til September. Used to have the odd stalemate in rivals which is the main competitive mode so close games are to be expected there.

Rivals = hard & competitive
WL = casual & easy (relative to Rivals)
So it makes sense for you to claim that scoring is easy if you dont play anyone around or above your level. If I play against weaker players all the time then I will find it easy to score aswell.
