The Golden challenge - WL edition

Hi guys,
Someone challenged me to play with a fully gold team aswell as bench in the upcoming WL with the exclusion of Mbappe, the player we all love and fear.
So I decided to try this challenge since I can barely improve my current team and I am curious to see if I can get anywhere the same result I usually get. I will also do the qualifying games with this team:
Might even go as far as using common Gold's for a next challenge. I expect it will be a tough challenge anyway as people will play longer and won't give up as easily against a Gold team. My goal is getting 14-16 wins, whatever rank that is

I predict 10-0 play offs and 17 wins in WL.
I wish you well. I think a brief match report (if you can be arsed!) for matches where you feel it is worth commenting on. I am sure you still get plenty of RQ's where there really isnt much for you to say!
I actually wanted to try out Vinicius as I have not played with him yet. Same goes for Salah although I know he's not that great.
But I'll see how the qualifying games go and then might change the team around a bit if needed.
That would be fun aswell!
I will try something like this too. Usually get 11 wins guaranteed, 14 wins if I want to, best is 16. Probably played 8-10 FUT champs weekends. Team is behind the curve, but still very useable.

Might be a good idea for a future challenge! But I wouldnt be surprised this is already hard as it is, but it could give some data in comparison if I do decide to play an off meta kind of team.

I will use 5212 as thats my go-to formation for several years. Will share the tactics when I get back to my console
Haha, nothing worse then downgrading a car. Luckily I have always moved up, not down
I get what you are saying, but I guess it's a little bit of fun to get some sort of challenge during WL. My first team is really strong and I am also kinda curious to see how I would stack up with this team vs good teams
The team performs so shiitt that I lose the patience
What can I say, it works really well and I enjoy playing with very attacking fullbacks.
Haha, I will vowe that whatever happens, I will start and finish with this squad. I have no doubt it'll be very hard though
Yeah, we'll see how it all turns out. But as James said who already did the challenge, it'll be tough
First game, qualifyers. I was kinda shocked how it played compared to my usual team. My opponent didn't have a real super team either. Only scored an overhead corner. RQ
Well, why not challenge yourself and use it in WL? Would be interesting to see the result!
Game 2, also RQ. Slightly better team then the previous player
Good team, bad player. Played Owa & friends but gave up easily
Noticed in the 2 games thus far your shooting accuracy is pretty low despite the easy wins, seems strange it would be that low compared to your main team??
I dont know why that is to be honest. I only shoot good angles but especially Vinicius can shoot wide very easily
Game 4, one more win needed to qualify. Quick RQ, dont know why as he had a good team with Jairzinho, Zidane, Owa, Mbappe etc
