Making it limited like that made it so hard for people to get.

You would have needed to pack the big PTGs like Nkunku, WWs like Ferland and Benzema and/or a bunch of totys to be in line with the actual power curve. That's not happening.
And no, I won't play more rivals to make it fairer. I'm already investing too much time in this filthy game. Ironically, I have the much stronger team compared to before, when I never missed a WL. So sick.
But we are decent at the game and knew we'd get 7, not everyone is and making it so people have just 12 games to get 7 wins is unfair for those that do struggle at the game, they should of had more games to get the token, but this was clearly a cashgrab move hoping those that missed out pay 3.99 to get an extra token off the store.
I play champs and 8 Rivals wins every week plus most player objectives etc and pro clubs so there’s only a certain amount of FIFA I can take mentally while still enjoying the game. 12 sweaty games for the reward of 1 token isn’t enough, especially when you can get basically any rewards you want even with missing a token anyway.

Doing this immediatey after it comes out is suicidal if you are not an elite.
I went 7-1 tonite, gifted remaining 4 , got 3 messages thanking. Not bad.
Although I scraped it 7-6, I don't see how they can ethically do this and feel for the players that are missing out

I disagree. Not trying to defend EA here, but cmon. This whole “everyone should get everything” attitude is silly.
Some things should be locked behind skill/wins/success. It’s okay if not every player can get all tokens because not every player wins all the time. Look at today: 1 in an SCB and 1 from scoring a couple of SB goals - you can definitely still earn tokens.
Does every single player on every team get an EPL medal at the end of the season? No, just the winner. Should they give every single player the Balon’Dor?
Also you are not locked out of content. There is so much to do right now - weekend league, squad battles, rivals, next WL qualification, silver stars (2 more tokens), HG 11 friendly for 1-2 tokens, SBCs etc. missing one token because you couldn’t win everything is on you and not “locked out of content”.
But You get rewards for winning the 7 games m8 why lock the swaps token behind it.
I may agree with this if the game was fair or skill was required but as usual with this game, broken mechanics proceed skill 90% of the time. Travella's, high press, R1/right bumper dribbling and various OP skill moves are not skill , they are broken mechanics that have never been fixed properly
It is possible for a player to matchmake against a higher ranked player every game if there is no-one in the area looking for a game at his/her level or lower
If you have fast internet and match against someone with poor internet then you have extreme lag/button lag to contend with due to EA trying to make the game "fair".
The servers are not fit for purpose causing lag and can cost you games
I think comparing FIFA 23 (a game) to the EPL/Balon'Dor (A job paying millions) borders on ridiculous
As I said, I got the token but think with the multitude of issues with this game it is unfair to lock game content.
Content is for everyone including the casuals, not just no lifers like us
