Those two dropped points are the difference between midtable and European spot right now. Hopefully you can make them up. The Chelsea score looks worse then the stats suggest but it would be nice seeing you start beating the big sides outside of Liverpool.

Haha oops, I forgot to change score from previous game with Chelsea, it was actually 1-1
Leaving it late
Southampton looking like they could grab a late winner, but a poor shot driven right at Turner who instantly boots it up field for Dominic Calvert-Lewin to score a late winner for Everton
Everton currently find themselves sat in the Top 6 and are already looking to strengthen the Squad before The January Transfer Window even opens with strong links to a Leeds United Player Willy Gnonto. Neither club will confirm nor deny reports some wonder if The Manager or someone within The Directors has a fixation on Leeds United 😯😉 it's been suggested Everton have been interested all season and with the young Italian in the final year of his contract Leeds may be looking to make a quick sell rather than risk going for free, whilst others wonder why would he leave a team in last 16 of The Champions League. Ironically since Leeds heavy defeat against Everton they haven't lost since and have started moving back up the table and showing last season's form.
Century Wins
Everton's 4-0 win over Brighton brought up 100 Wins for The Manager at Everton who is also fast approaching 200 games in charge at The Merseyside Club. The Manager didn't have much to say on the matter other than it doesn't matter how many all time wins he has its all about now and the next 3 points.
Overall everyone seems happy with how things are going at Everton, with the added rumours of more too class players potentially arriving the fans are really seeing this as a positive and a move in the right direction compared to a year ago when all their inform players were sold and definitely a huge improvement from their last stint in The Premier League.
Gnonto. You can take the man out of Leeds, but you can't take the Leeds out of the man. Haha, can't blame you though, I tend to do the same with Man United youngsters from time to time. Tuanzebe, Brandon Williams, Fosu-Mensah, how often I've signed this lot over the years...
Good run of results, rising to top 6, only 1 point off the Champions League places so far. Very promising...

Gnonto was always in my plans, but with Leeds doing so well last season there was no realistic way of signing him right away but with how bad they were doing I figured now could be. Greenwood again was someone I planned and then Cresswell was a convenient signing which completed an objective and got cheap. I think only other I could be tempted by is Summerville, but I think I'm done on raiding Leeds now 😂
Interesting that only 3 teams have scored more and 3 let in fewer, and yet you're 6th, albeit that the points are close.
It's pretty close below is as well just didn't show that so whilst we could quickly jump into top 4 we could also find selves in bottom half just as easily
The festive period proved very frustrating for Everton dropping points twice to Fulham, losing to Nottingham Forest in a game the should have won and knocked out of The Carabao Cup in a dreadful performance against Tottenham Hotspur. The game itself was poor and pretty uneventful then for Everton to miss all their penalties in the shoot-out.
With January around the corner and the rumours of Willy Gnonto coming true Everton fans hope for better things especially as we head to The Manager's 200th game in charge.
Willy Gnonto joins from Leeds and a deal some consider a bargain, with Gnonto in final year of contract and Leeds not risking him leaving for free Everton got their man. Some still find it crazy he'd trade Champions League Football for Everton, but the ambition of Everton is what has attracted the young Italian.

200th Game
The Manager takes charge for The 200th time at Everton and now would be the perfect time to change a bad run. This is also to be the first game for Willy Gnonto going straight into the starting lineup.
With this win over Brentford it was his 103rd win giving The Manager a 51.5% Win Rate which places him 2nd currently in the all-time records for Everton Managers. Howard Kendall has the best win % for his stint from 1981 to 1987 with 54.1% but his overall was brought down due to his 2 other stints as Everton Manager. also at 200 games this makes The manager 10th on the list for most games in The Everton Dugout. With 1 Carabao Cup win and a Championship Winners Medal can they add more silverware any time soon and get anywhere near to the number of games of Thomas McIntosh who managed Everton 715 times between December 1919 til October 1935.
Poor way to end the year... But still only 2 points separating Everton and the "BIG SIX".
It seems whenever I drop points the teams above me do too. A gap has begun to properly open with top 4 now then City and Spurs are pretty much out of reach for Everton now so no risk of a sudden title win or anything so I'm happy with my position. Board expect Europa League Position which I thought was a tad unreasonable, my personal target was to try and qualify for Conference League.

If so, then a pretty good run since the derby defeat. Seems this Marcus Spencer fellow is bringing in a more steady and solid course for Everton now.
Sometimes a little luck is what is needed and that has happened for Everton
Decisive goal in game against Leicester came out of nowhere and handed on a plate for Everton.

I certainly do
